냉각수 교환

2015년형 도요타 코롤라 자동변속기, 주행거리 70,000마일. 최근 몇 년간 운전 빈도 낮음. 딜러에서 냉각수 플러시, 브레이크액 플러시, 연료계통 세척을 권장함. 그 외에는 최근 3년 내에 배터리, 앞 브레이크, 타이어 교체됨.

2011 Ford Fusion, 2.5L 4기통, 약 80,000마일. 2개월 전 유휴 풀리(idler pulley) 교체 후 약 2주 후 벨트가 벗겨짐. 정비소에서 워터펌프 풀리가 흔들리고 있었으며 3개 볼트 중 2개가 전단되어 있었음을 발견. 볼트 헤드가 풀리를 마모시킴. 새 워터펌프와 새 워터펌프 풀리 설치 후, 약 6주된 벨트는 양호하여 장착. 그러나 벨트가 다시 벗겨짐.

브레이크 패드 교환

브레이크 라이트가 밤에만 60% 정도 지속적으로 켜져 있음. 브레이크 크루즈 스위치와 브레이크 라이트를 교체했지만 해결되지 않음

2015 Toyota Corolla 후륜 드럼 브레이크용 Raybestos 휠 실린더(WC370207) 교체 후 누유 가능성 우려. OEM 부품($60+)과 비교하여 저가의 Raybestos 부품($17)의 신뢰도 확인 필요

헤드 개스킷 교체 후 9일 동안 방치된 차량의 배터리가 방전되었음. 배터리 연결 부분을 확인했을 때 배터리 단자 커넥터 내부에 오일이 들어있었음. 배터리 충전 후 시동을 걸려고 했으나 엔진이 완전히 시작되지 않음. 배터리를 교체했으나 교체 과정에서 배터리 클램프(단자)가 손상됨.

현가장치 전체 교체 부품 반입 - 내측/외측 타이로드, 양쪽 컨트롤 암, 양쪽 퀵 스트럿, 양쪽 쇼크, 스웨이바 링크 4개. 정비사가 9시간 소요 예상하지만 간단한 혼다 차량의 경우 실제로는 5-7시간이면 충분하지 않나?

와이퍼 블레이드 교환

2017 닛산 리프(26,000마일). 딜러십에서 브레이크 액 교체 및 후면 와이퍼 블레이드 교체 작업 수행. 후면 와이퍼 작동 시 교체된 블레이드가 너무 길어서 카울링 아래에 걸려 수직 위치에서 고착됨. 즉시 끄기. 딜러십에 반납 후 6시간 동안 후면 와이퍼 고장 진단 시도. 현재 후면 와이퍼 완전 작동 불능 상태.

내비게이션 시스템이 고온 상태에서 작동 불량

Hi out of curiosity I was wondering how much the local shop marked up the price of brake components. My family lives in a wealthy area in the San Francisco California area so prepare for a possible shock! My dad would never consider another shop since he’s been in this area since 1960 and used the shop and its owners for longer than I’ve been alive. So yea just curious. 연료 충전 후 시동을 걸고 에어컨을 켠 후 드라이브에 놓고 가스 페달을 살짝 밟았는데 갑자기 풀 스로틀로 변함. 양발로 브레이크를 밟아도 풀 스로틀이 유지됨. 견인 중이던 트레일러의 액슬이 강철 기둥에 부딪히고 뒷바퀴가 미끄러짐. 키를 꺼서 엔진 정지.

While not car related, it is about mechanical stuff. Older zero turn John Deere has a broken pulley, John Deere no longer sells it, no 3rd party-ebay-market place etc have it. 2018 스바루 임프레자에서 시동 시 연기 발생. 특히 차량이 우측(조수석) 방향으로 경사진 상태로 주차되었을 때 발생. 처음에는 2일 이상 주차 후에만 나타났으나 시간이 지남에 따라 1일 주차 후에도 발생하기 시작. 연기량이 점점 증가하는 추세.

I bought some Michelin crossclimate2 tires today, went to the auto parts store for new wiper blades and the guy was in awe of the tires. He said they are great for the rims on my 2017 rav4, and they bubble on the bottom for more traction and a smoother ride. What warranty did you get. I said I do not know, but I am putting maybe 4k miles a year. I am not really worried about mileage as dry rot has been killing tires before mileage. He said I should have gone to Costco, better warranty, the shop I bought them from will rotate them every 5k miles for free, no road hazard.

Hi all, I’m fairly new to wrenching and I’m looking for feedback on whether my outdoor setup seems safe. I have a gravel driveway area in my backyard where I want to jack my car up and go underneath safely (i.e. pull a transmission, diff, etc). In my opinion, I’d say this patch of driveway is ‘very flat’, however it’s still not a perfectly poured concrete garage floor, and is also covered in small gravel. I’m interested in buying either a Subaru Outback or an Audi A4 Avant (quattro 2.0 T) in the 2005-2009 range. Most of the cars I’ve seen available have between 70-100K miles and, between the two brands, the prices are pretty similar. Is a used Audi of that vintage (2005-2009) going to be significantly less reliable than a used Subaru? I know Audis are more expensive to fix when they do have problems. 현대차는 안전마진을 많이 잡아놔서 오래 운행해도 SOH가 거의 안떨어진다 하는데, 아무리 BMS가 좋아도 배터리 열화는 피할 수 없을테고 그럼 안전마진이 0이 되면 화재나 SOH에 더욱 불리해지지 않나요? 안전마진은 그대로 가져가고 열화되는 배터리 만큼 SOH를 줄여야 맞는거 같은데.

동네 카센터에서 주차 브레이크 제동력 미달 문제로 수리 받았습니다 검사소 가서 재검사 받았는데 불합격...ㅡㅡ 그래서 재수리 받으려고 예약했더니 전화가 와서는 "저희가 검사 대행해서 합격 받게 해드릴게요 검사비는 저희가 낼게요" 제동력 미달 문제는 해결이 안 됐는데 검사만 합격 처리하면 뭐하나 싶은데.. 이게 맞는 걸까요? 제동력 수치가 20% 이상이 나와야 되는데 8%대가 나왔거든요

 안녕하세요. YF 쏘나타 LPG 운행 중인데 오늘 오랜만에 이상한 증상이 있어서 문의드립니다. 7일 전 가스만 충전하고 차를 약 일주일 정도 세워뒀다가 시동을 걸었습니다. 계기판에 처음부터 이상이 있었는지, 아니면 주행하다 그랬는지는 몰라도 갑자기 LPG 잔량 게이지가 0으로 뜨면서 가스 부족 경고등이 반짝반짝 들어왔습니다. 놀라서 시동을 껐다가 바로 다시 켰더니 게이지가 정상으로 돌아오고 경고등도 사라졌습니다. 사실 비슷한 증상을 거의 1년 전쯤 한 번 겪었던 기억이 있는데, 그 이후로는 전혀 없다가 이번에 또 발생했네요. LPG는 최근 충전한 상태라 실제로 가스가 없는 상황은 아닙니다. 혹시 1. LPG 잔량 센서(플로트) 문제인지 2. 배터리 전압 문제인지 3. 오래된 가스차에서 종종 있는 증상인지 비슷한 경험 있으신 분들 계실까요? 이후에 센서 교체까지 하셨는지, 그냥 타도 괜찮았는지 경험 공유 부탁드립니다. ㅠㅠ 감사합니다.
