MY TOYOTA CAMRY 2018 SE HAVE A DELAYED ACCELERATION. I .E WHEN YOU GO ON A HIGHWAY AND PRESS THE GAS PEDAL IT WILL INCREASE THE RPM BUT NOT THE CAR SPEED AND SEEMS LIKE CAR IS NOT IN D BUT ON N. LOT OF PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS ISSUE WITH 2018 AND ABOVE MODELS. TOYOTA NEEDS TO LOOK INTO THIS MATTER.

Mazda 5 - does 2x6k commute lately - previously all freeway miles. I use Mobil 1 and Wix filter - change yearly. Once sent it to lab after about 15months of use - Blackstone recommended extending the interval - but I am doing yearly, 4k. Since the last oil change, 1k, oil is relatively dark compared to Volt or 2017 Prius with 40k. So thinking of using it in my next oil change: add the Flush and run for 20min on the existing oil put some cheap engine oil (use the same filter?) and drain it again after 10min of idling chnage filter and put Mobil 1 What do u guys think? FUEL KEEP COMING BACK UP FROM THE INTAKE (CAP) EVERY-TIME IT'S FULL AND HAPPEN ON HOT WEATHER DAYS WHILE IN PARKING LOT. IT'S HAPPENED A MONTH AFTER I BOUGHT THE CAR (BRAND NEW), THE DEALER TRIED TO REPLACE CHARCOAL CANISTER, BUT NOW AFTER A YEAR THE PROBLEM COME BACK AGAIN AND BEEN HAPPENING FOR MONTHS NOW, BRING TO THE DEALER NOW (DIFFERENT THAN THE ONE BEFORE), THEY CAN'T FIGURE OUT AND BLAME ME FOR OVERFILL. THEY DIDN'T WANT TO DO ANY REPAIR OR FURTHER INVESTIGATION BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT TO ADMIT THAT THEY DIDN'T TOTALLY FIX THE PROBLEM, IT'S EASIER FOR THEM TO BLAME IT ON THE CONSUMERS.

I’ve asked a few mechanics and DIYers this question and so far no consensus. Let’s say you’re 1000 miles away from next SCHEDULED oil change, and you’re about to leave on a 2000 mile road trip. Would you choose to change your oil 1000 miles early before the trip, or 1000 miles late after the trip?

A friend has an older Miata that was improperly stored for at least three years. Most of the time, it was not garaged. The gas is old, the battery is dead, it has not been started. It was probably parked without an oil change. He is looking to do the minimum to get this sellable, so the primary concern is the initial startup and the brakes. What would be recommended , especially regarding that first engine startup?

Some product, same SKU, different copyright dates, same price. One says 10,000 miles, the newer one says 15,000 miles. The the more modern left package has a more minimalist design on the back with fewer words and less technical information, just like many modern websites. 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe will start then die. Then it will not start. After pumping the accelerator or holding on the floor and returning later it will start. Nothing codes out. This happens probably 15% of the time. Any ideas?

I replaced the power steering pump on my U code engine and am having difficulty knowing the configuration of the high pressure seal(s) at the pump. I would be interested in knowing the exact part number and the specific location of the teflon seal, and if there is a second rubber 0-ring at the tip. Any input is appreciated - - thanks

when im on the highway driving for 30 minutes to an hour, the throttle feels like it just goes dead for a few seconds. Eventually after 5-10 seconds it kicks back on and the truck jerks and starts driving normal. It can happen a minute later or 15 minutes later but it normally lasts for just 5-10 seconds. It has happened getting off the highway when starting to accelerate after a stoplight and the truck wheels stopped and the truck didnt stall so i cant imagine its spark or fuel issue. it never has really happened on short drives or even idling for long periods of time. 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 3.6L. I have what sounds like a grumbling or growling sound when I accelerate onto the highway. It’s only presenting when I am heavy on the gas. Stops once I let off. Now and then my 2016 Sonata Hybrid will start shaking. The first time it happened, I was on the highway and it felt like I was driving over (mild) speed bumps (but I wasn’t). When it happens, which isn’t frequent, it usually happens on the highway less then 10 minutes after entering and it lasts less than 30 seconds (but feels like forever). The check engine light will turn on, but when I get the check engine light’s records checked (which I’ve done 3 separate times), they never see any record of it coming on. I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am SE 2.4 and I’m dealing with a no start problem that I can’t figure out.
