This is my front passenger tire. As you can see, there is a large crack where you can see wire underneath. I ordered new tires that are supposed to arrive on Friday, however, I still need to get to & from work every day this week (approximately 10 miles of highway x2 per day). Is this tire safe to drive to work, or should I wait to drive it directly to the mechanic to change out the tires when they arrive? Thanks!

This refers to a problem with my car, based on comments on the “Hit curb 10mph brand new Corolla - mild vibration after” thread. Also, reference to the thread which I posted on exploding three tires in a very few days on my 2009 Mexican Sienna, due to road hazards. I drive a Ford Focus 2004 which has about 104 thousand km on the clock. There is a constant noise from the front right wheel which goes away when I depress the clutch. Moreover around 60km/h and 120-130km/h there is a vibration in the steering wheel which is sometimes more sometimes less. The front tires have seen better days and could/should also be replaced but don't show any irregular wear. What would be the most likely cause? Did anybody have similar experiences?

Good morning. Recently I conducted a search on why, after long-term storage of my car about 5 months, one of my tires pressure was 4psi lower than the others. I had set them all a little high, 40psi for storage. Upon returning, three of them had dropped to 35psi - the weather was colder - but one was at 32. I just came back from Mavis. They were trying to change a front tire but the wheel is frozen to the hub. They tried penetrating oil, heating and pounding. I’m not sure how long they kept the penetrating oil before heating. They were unsuccessful in getting the Unfortunately, the tire is so worn it really needs to be changed. Any suggestions?

During the summer months when temperatures were extreme, my car suddenly had that infamous orange triangle light up and a warning about the tire pressure. I was rear ended when I was braking hard to avoid hitting a dog in the street (where I live you can be sued for running over/injuring a dog). Backup camera suddenly stopped showing video feed to the vehicle screen. No warning lamps were ever produced. The screen works intermittently and will fail for entire ignition cycles once it stops working. I had to dig through diagnostic menus that are hidden to the customer. The screen works as intended when the vehicle is not in reverse. Safety concern is that no check engine lamp was lit when the backup camera circuit failed.

The entire brake system became inoperative on my 2018 Toyota Camry on two separate occasions causing a near fatal accident and damaged to my property and to the property of the other driver on the road. After filing a complaint on the other front tire, I checked the other side and the tire is doing the exact same thing. My instrument panel went black. I can no longer tell how fast I'm going I can no longer tell if my safety features are on or off. I can no longer see if my tire pressure is good or bad. Driving on the freeway, cruise control set, a remnant of a large tire was in my lane, I could not avoid hitting it, it caused my car to lose control, drive up on the concrete divider placed by construction crews, came back down to the freeway and hit the back of a semi causing my car to then spin out of control and eventually landing in a ditch. I have a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee which in general has had a few small issues (stock radio failure, stuck on heat only for the passenger side, and after resolving that, I'm stuck on heat only for the driver's side, to name a couple) but lately I have noticed something that may be more concerning.
