Panoramic sunroof issues. Sunroof is stuck in the open position. Motor clicks continuously but does not close. Toyota dealership only able to close top portion of sunroof and had to disconnect the motor. Sunroof not used often so this should not have happened, and vehicle is not that old. The cost to repair is outrageous.

Upon leaving my home the “check engine” light turned on suddenly after only less than 2 minutes of driving . The “ICS malfunction” light also turned on. Received while driving notification on driving panel car needed to be taken to the dealership immediately. I returned vehicle to service department of where I purchased the car. I also had an engineer from the bureau of automotive repair evaluate my car. The engineer attested the issue was a result of a design flaw. The service department did not comment but instead reported I would have a $3000.00 repair. I never saw my car again even though while it was at the dealership I made TWO MORE CAR PAYMENTS.

On hot days, fuel vapor escapes from the gas tank's filler pipe and condenses and pools inside the fuel access door. The area around the car smells of gas. Sometimes it runs down the side of the car and drips on the ground. This has ruined the paint. Driving down the road about 25 miles an hour, slowed further to take a left turn when the power sreering suddenly gave out. The steering wheel became extremly difficult to turn and resulted in me slowing to a crawl to safely make the turn. If cars were near there could have been a colision.

The vacuum brake pump assembly malfunctioned and I had the vehicle taken to the dealer that did the original recall for the vacuum brake pump assembly and they inspected the vehicle and told me that was the issue along with the nipple inside the pump had broken off and fell down into the engine and had damaged the cam shaft. Exactly what the recall states. Yes the vehicle can and has been inspected its at the dealer still and has been since 06/12/2024 when this occurred. I’m filing a complaint because I had scheduled a recall and maintanance appt problably a year or two ago. On 9/6/24 I pulled up to the gas pump and couldn’t stop. My brake light and warning light came on. I called Toyota and one of their service team members said it was covered because it was part of a repair kit that was completed on 9/2023. They then said that they did a recall repair at that time which involved the brake vacuum pump. I was not told this at the time. Now they say that this has failed and they refuse to fix it. I have a 93 Jeep Cherokee, 6 cylinder, manual. It starts with no problems. After starting, I can turn the wheel left with no issues, but it is hard to turn the wheel right. I have to give it a good pull and then it will turn. It does not matter if I turn left first or turn right first. The first time I turn the wheel right at all, it sticks. After the first turn right, I don't have any more problems with it. Or, at least I thought not... My drive home is about 30 minutes on a straight highway.
