i live in Florida. We get a lot of rain. My Toyota Camry 2018 is unsafe and actualy dangerous to drive in the rain as the wiper speed, even on high, is too slow. Most of the time I HAVE TO PULL OVER ON THE SIDEOF THE ROAD AND HOPE THAT NO ONE CRASHES INTO ME. THIS Iis EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. THE DEALERS ARE ALL AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. About a month ago my daughter left the toyota dealership in Bradenton fl. after an oil change. She drove several hundred feet, the car stalled and she couldn't start it. The transmission has completely malfunctioned. The car started stalling in traffic. It then stopped registering gears and stopped pulling. The car was taken to a shop who stated transmissions issues along with a brake assist failure. The torque converter has not been released by Toyota. My car has 139000 miles. I have researched this issue and many others have reported the same problem!

Out of nowhere, the steering became very stiff and there was lots of difficulty with the wheel returning to center. This put myself and others at risk as it would be difficult to steer and in a moment where I would have to react fast to avoid an accident, my car would not be able to help. Couple days ago I notice both my tailights weren’t working also my license plates lights and parking lights weren’t working and also my headlights parking light don’t work anymore they all went bad at the same time. Shifted the operating car from park to drive when the car suddenly and unexpectedly took off even though I was not touching the accelerator. The car accelerated across the street and slammed into a parked car. The airbags did not deploy which would indicate a low-speed but the pre-collision system did not stop the car which would indicate higher- speed. My car was written off as a complete loss by my insurance carrier and the damage to the parked car that was hit was extensive.

multiple issues with radar sensors- disable parking assist, lane assist and rear traffic sensors due to constant malfunctioning - battery has been replaced twice within the past 6 months - vacuum pump for automatic break assist replaced APRIL 2024 - automatic brake assist failed while on vacation and car had to be driven without assisted breaks from New Orleans to Jackson MS for repair - car can only be driven in SPORT MODE otherwise there is concerning jerking and rough gear change and acceleration lag, this issue has been addressed since the date of purchase but no serious concerns expressed

Brake malfunction on my 2018 Toyota Camry and steering wheel malfunctioned causing my vehicles to spend on the freeway hitting a barrel and landing the car into a ditch. I was driving my 2018 Toyota Camry SE and the brakes went out on me. I managed to keep pumping the brake and slowly apply the emergency brake to bring the vehicle to a stop. After a look by a mechanic, it turned out that the problem was with the brake vacuum pump. The internal parts were completely destroyed. There was a recall in 2022 for the fuel pump. The fuel pump was replaced by a local dealership in North Charleston, South Carolina. In December, the engine light of my 2018 Toyota Camry came on. It was diagnosed that the fuel pump needs to be replaced. I have appointment scheduled for this Thursday, February 20 at the local dealership for them, too diagnose and replace.

I took my car (Mk1 Golf/Rabbit Cabriolet) to get new front struts and new strut mounts kits installed. When I got it back, the steering and suspension certainly felt better, but the steering wheel is now on an angle. I can't imagine any reason why the tie rods would be tampered with during this process, but I am not a professional. Could this just be the result of replacing the strut mounts and strut mounts bearings, causing the wheels to be better aligned?
