If you are unaware of the term, Festival Of The Unexceptional for which I think the cut-off is 25+ years old ie 2001 or older.  I'm a little disillusioned at the moment in that there aren't really any what I consider to be modern enough to be daily drivable but "special" cars in my budget ie practical enough for family duties, with a nice engine and without exorbitant running costs.  That said, there are plenty of ordinary cars that I am happy to drive on a daily basis that meet my requirements apart from the "special" bit, so I have been thinking that a cheapish and sensible daily and a "mode

Oops, I bought a 1998 Bentley Brooklands R Mulliner Jack Barclay Edition. There were only 100 Brooklands R Mulliners made with each one being numbered. To me FOTU is about the nostalgia of cars which used to be commonplace and are now rare - "don't see many of those any more". Cars which used to form the backdrop of daily life, but have now almost all been scrapped, leaving a handful of survivors to represent their fallen comrades. My respect for Singer has just tanked

수동 변속기(예: Tremec T56)에 소형 컴퓨터를 설치하여 클러치를 작동하고 기어를 변속하는 자동화가 가능한지 궁금함. 프로그래밍으로 적절한 변속 지점을 계산하고 변속기에 정확한 신호를 보낼 수 있을 것 같지만 기술적 문제가 있는지 확인하고 싶음.

Was expecting this to be dirt cheap, didn't realise these W204s commanded that kind of money.Still pretty remarkable value, I'd love a wagon version if petrol wasn't so ridiculously expensive. Pity about the tints on this one. Another nice car ruined by chav glass!

2011 혼다 핏이 몇 번 전체 전기 전원을 잃었습니다. 예를 들어 주유소에서 차에 탔을 때 키를 돌리면 순간 전원이 들어왔다가 모든 전기가 끊겼습니다 - 대시 라이트, 라디오 시계 등이 모두 꺼졌습니다. 배터리 연결이 느슨해진 줄 알아 후드를 열어봤지만 모든 것이 연결되어 있었습니다. 배터리 연결을 건드린 후 다시 시동이 걸렸습니다. 그 이후로도 2번 더 발생했습니다. 시동 시에만 발생하며, 시동 후에는 문제가 없습니다.

2006 Chevy Malibu: 주행등이 자동차 꺼진 상태에서 무작위로 켜짐. 라이트 스위치가 OFF 위치인데도 불구하고 켜지며, 때로는 꺼지지 않아 배터리 방전. 내부 라이트는 OFF 상태. 좌측 방향지시등 레버(턴 시그널 스톡)가 ON 위치에서 유지되지 않음.

2015 쉐보레 서버번 1500 LTZ 4WD 스태빌리트랙 브레이크 블리딩 중 전륜은 빠르게 배출되지만 후륜이 배출되지 않음. 스틸 브레이드 브레이크 라인과 리어 액슬의 스태빌리트랙 라인을 모두 교체함. 마스터 실린더에서 가장 먼 곳부터 가장 가까운 곳 순서로 진행함.

정차 후 1단에서 전진하지 않을 때가 있으나, 후진을 한 후에는 문제가 해결되어 다시 1단으로 전진 가능. 후진이 시스템을 리셋하는 것 같음.

연료가 거의 없는 상태(예비연료)에서 시동을 걸려고 할 때 크랭킹이 되지 않음. 이웃이 연료를 가져온 후 연료 페달을 여러 번 펌프질한 후 시동이 걸림. 그 이후로 매번 시동할 때 오랫동안 크랭킹한 후 시작됨. 시동 후에는 매우 낮은 회전수(거의 0에 가까운)에서 아이들링 중.

배터리 교환

2009 혼다 Jazz가 코로나 제한으로 인해 사용 빈도가 낮아짐. 배터리 상태가 좋지 않아 주 1회 15-20분 주행으로도 배터리 완전 방전 우려. 도로에 주차되어 있음.
