My understanding is that a heat pump (as a heat source) is essentially an "air conditioner running backwards" -- given that, and since air conditioning is an (almost) universal feature in modern cars, I'm wondering why some EVs (for example Chevy Bolts and VW ID.4 in the US) don't have heat pumps? What has to be added to or modified in an air conditioning system so that it can also be used for heating? What are the trade-offs that lead to cars like the Bolt with resistance heating and air conditioning?

2002 혼다 시빅의 시동 문제. 아침에는 정상 시동 및 주행. 2시간 운행 후 재시동 정상. 30분 식사 후 시동 불가. 키 턴 시 대시보드 불이 들어오고 엔진은 크랭킹되지만 시동이 걸리지 않음. 10분 대기해도 시동 안 됨.

93년형 포드 에스코르트의 클러치 페달이 브레이크를 밟으면서 바닥까지 내려감. 이미 마스터 실린더를 교체하고 에어블리딩을 했음. 브레이크 부스터와 관련이 있을 수 있는지 의문.

고속도로 약 1마일 주행 후 엔진이 꺼짐. 오일 경고등은 점등되지 않았으나 오일 부족 상태였고 오일 교환이 수천 마일 연체된 상태. 정비소에서 크랭크축에 렌치를 걸었으나 회전하지 않아 엔진 고착 진단.

스로틀 바디가 엔진의 파워 커브에 어떤 영향을 미치는지, 그리고 스로틀 바디가 정확히 무엇인지 알고 싶음

압축 테스트 결과가 정상인데 리크다운 테스트도 필요할 수 있는지 궁금함. 압축 테스트가 정상이면 리크다운 테스트도 반드시 정상인가?

This was a completely unexpected purchase - but came across it when just having a browse at 0214 this morning because my sleep is crap currently due to the meds I’m on, and saw how close it was, and had to go and see it…Made contact; went down this afternoon, had a good look over it, took it for a spin with some fast driving and hard on the brakes etc, doing the usual due diligence and couldn’t fault it at all.. TBH as soon as I saw the first picture as below, I was sold It’s now home and on the drive; full oil & filter change tomorrow with a flush to begin with and I’ll probably give it a lic

I find it a little sad that GMA has to resort to a reproduction of another car, albeit one conceived by GM himself. Sometime you just need to move on and strive to produce something better than what went before (in terms of looks). Yes it might be a failure, but keep trying. This car is what happens when you do exactly what your customers ask for, GM couldn’t obviously turn down the request!

엔진오일 교환

My least favourite new supercar of the day, so far...

오일 경고등이 켜져서 확인해보니 오일이 거의 없었습니다. 1리터를 추가하고 500m 정도 주행한 후 정비소에서 오일 교환을 받고 누유 여부를 점검했는데 누유는 없고 오일이 연소되는 것으로 보입니다. 성능형 에어필터(P-flow)가 오일 소비를 악화시킬 수 있는지 궁금합니다. (2009년식 폭스바겐 제타 시티)

배터리 교환

볼보 S40 디젤 - 인젝션 펌프 교체 후 시동 불량. 시동이 잘 안 걸리고 여러 번 크랭킹해야 겨우 시동됨. 배터리 전력을 많이 소비함. 중고 인젝션 펌프 장착 후 발생.

1999 Suburban의 에어컨이 작년 가을부터 냉각 성능이 저하되었고, 늦가을부터 완전히 냉각되지 않음. 봄이 되어도 여전히 냉각 안 됨. 부동액 수준은 정상. 냉매 압력이 낮을 가능성 있음(느린 누수로 인한 냉매 부족 의심).

변속기 오일 교환

2008 닛산 센트라 CVT 트랜스미션 오일 교환 필요. 총 용량 7리터이지만 토크 컨버터로 인해 한 번에 4리터만 배출 가능. 깨끗한 트랜스미션 오일(기존 오일 5% 이하)을 얻기 위해 몇 회 부분 교환이 필요한지 확인 필요.
