정비 사례

OBD2 장치에서 자동차의 제동 거리를 계산하고 싶음. 시속 30km에서 급제동을 할 때 자동차가 스키드하면서 정지하는 거리 'x'미터를 측정하려고 함. 그러나 최대 제동 시 차량 엔진이 회전을 멈추고 ECU는 속도를 0으로 읽기 시작하므로, 스키드하는 동안의 실제 속도를 읽을 수 없음. OBD2 장치로는 자동차가 스키드했다는 것을 알 수 없음.

18HP Craftsman LT1000 잔디깎이: 배터리 매번 점프 필요, 블레이드 한 곳 약간 구부러짐, 오일 부족 확인 후 가득 채웠음. 시동 후 거대한 볼(내용 잘림)

오일 교환 중 오일 1쿼트만 남겨두고 20분간 주행하여 엔진 손상 여부 확인 필요. 1993 Mazda Miata, 오일 압력 게이지는 30 psi 이상으로 유지되었으나 오일 경고등이 작동하지 않음.

2005 Civic에서 이상한 전기 문제 발생. 양쪽 헤드라이트가 동시에 꺼짐 (하이빔은 정상, 퓨즈는 양호). 그 후 SRS 경고등이 주행 중 간헐적으로 점등되었다가 꺼짐. 배터리 경고등도 동일한 증상 반복. 배터리는 충분한 전력 있음 (7개월 된 신품).

토요타 코롤라

2006년식 · E140 10세대 (2006-2013) · 1.8 LE

배터리 교환

2006 Toyota Corolla, 65,000마일. 시속 25-35km 주행 중 코스팅할 때 간헐적으로 2-3회 흔들림(lurch) 발생. 강하게 느껴지지만 차를 움직일 정도는 아님. 최근 ECM 리콜 대체됨. 트랜스미션 오일은 정상(분홍색, 타지 않은 상태).

번개가 집 근처 나무에 떨어진 후 자동차가 드라이브와 리버스 기어에 들어가지 않음. 엔진은 작동하는 것으로 들림.

스바루 레거시

2001년식 · 3세대 (1999-2003) · 2.5 기본형

변속기 오일 교환

2001 스바루 레거시의 센터 디퍼렌셜(중앙 디퍼렌셜) 내부 부품이 축방향으로 이탈되어 정렬 위치를 잃었고, 알루미늄 하우징을 마모시키면서 미세한 알루미늄 입자가 기어유(트랜스미션 오일)에 섞여 있는 상태. 센터 디퍼렌셜은 트랜스미션 후방에 볼트로 고정된 알루미늄 하우징에 탑재되어 있으며 트랜스미션과 동일한 기어유를 공유하고 있음.

시동 걸릴 때 여러 번 꺼짐, 결국 시작 불가 상태 발생. 연료펌프 컨트롤 릴레이를 점퍼선으로 우회했을 때 시동이 걸림.

1999 Freelander 2.0L DI 파워스티어링 유압유 보충 필요. 매뉴얼에서는 Dexron IID 또는 Dexron III 사용 권장. Dexron III H (예: Castrol ATF DEX III) 사용 가능 여부 확인.

배터리 교환

폭스바겐 T4가 간헐적으로 시동이 걸리지 않음. 약 1개월간 정상 시동 및 주행 후 약 20분간 완전히 시동 불가. 계기판 조명은 정상이나 엔진은 완전히 꺼진 상태. 스타터 모터도 작동하지 않으며 클릭음도 없음 (완전 방전 상태). 약 20분 후 정상 시동되어 다시 1개월간 정상 주행. 배터리 점검 완료 (정상).

2002년식 · 1세대 (2000-2007) · 3.0 XLT

냉각수 교환

지난해에 겨우 작동했던 AC 시스템. 어제 고압부에서 저압부로 AC 클리닝 솔벤트를 플러시했고(호스 분리 없이 저압부 핀을 눌러서 통과), 에어로 완전히 날림. 오늘 컴프레서를 새것으로 교체하고 PAG-46 오일 7oz(신규 컴프레서 3oz + 추가 4oz)를 저압 포트로 주입. 엔진 시동 후 AC를 최고로 설정하고 R-134a를 그린 게이지 범위까지 충전.

2007년식 · FA/FG 8세대 (2006-2011) · 1.8 LX

배터리 교환

2007 Honda Civic LX, 103,000마일. 아침에 시동을 걸 때 간헐적으로 시작이 안 됨. 처음 몇 번 시도할 때 스타터가 겨우 1-2초 동안만 엔진을 돌리다가 멈춤. 3-4번 시도한 후 시동이 걸림. 배터리 방전 증상과 유사하지만 신품 배터리 장착 후에도 발생.

2018 F150 5.0L, 약 150,000마일. P0019 결함 코드가 간헐적으로 발생하며 불규칙한 아이들, 엔진 떨림, 스톨 현상 동반. 엔진에서 특징적인 클릭/클랙 소음 발생하지만 심각하지는 않음.

2016 소나타 하이브리드, 수개월간 스파크 플러그 미스파이어 발생. 3월에 카본 클리닝 후 해결되었으나 5개월 후 재발. 체크 엔진 라이트 점등, 실린더 2번 미스파이어 코드(P0302 추정) 확인. 코드 클리어 후 일시적으로 증상 완화되었으나 재발 가능성 높음.

포드 머스탱

2014년식 · S197 5세대 (2005-2014) · 4.6 GT

타이밍벨트 교환

포드 2014-2021년식 1L 터보차저 엔진에서 타이밍 벨트가 분해되어 오일 픽업 스크린을 막고 엔진 오일 유량 감소 발생. NHTSA 경고 발생. 타이밍 벨트 교환 주기가 150,000마일에서 100,000마일로 단축됨.

Looks to make a fantastic second car for those living in towns and cities. Love the styling, price point, weight, performance is adequate and will probably feel better than the numbers suggest. Range isn’t too bad but could be better and won’t matter for city drivers who don t cover many miles and can charge at home.More of this kind of car please.
