Hopefully somebody works for Highways and might be able to advise;Who oversees lane closures and temp speed cameras? Do they need any qualifications? Sorry but there is no excuse for that. The pavement must be there for a reason so surely access to it for anyone in a wheelchair or pushchair is more of a priority than the comfort of a selfish trucker?

Given there were only 5 new GranCabrio Trofeo’s registered in 2024 I can’t imagine Maserati are targeting much more than double figures per year for this one. I'm learning about catalytic converters, and learned that a car with a functioning converter doesn't output carbon monoxide (CO) because it converts it into carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O). How exactly does someone die of CO poisoning if they leave the car running, if the converter ensures this doesn't happen? Is there a step I'm missing? When I look at Lamborghini Veneno and compare it for example to the Ferrari 458 Italia I can see that Lamborghini used a V12 while Ferrari placed a V8 inside the 458 Italia. I wonder why Lamborghini uses a V12 as it should be the heavier engine. Also due to additional 4 cylinders it has more spinning parts and wearing parts. Shouldn't the V8 have advantages over the V12? So I wonder why did the Lamborghini choose the V12 over an V8? I find the V8, after the 6 cylinder boxster from Porsche, the best engine when taking agreement between weight, spinning parts, horsepower/torque and space.

1988 혼다 어코드(3세대) 연료 게이지가 항상 만땅을 가리키는 문제. 센더 유닛을 탱크에서 제거하여 접점 클리너로 세척함(구리색 변색 있었음). 탱크 밖에서 테스트 시 플로트를 손으로 움직이면 게이지가 정상 반응함. 센더를 탱크에 다시 설치한 후 문제 재발 - 연료 게이지가 계속 만땅을 가리키며 변화 없음.

냉각수 교환

03 마즈다 프로테제 우측 프론트 캘리퍼 과열 현상. 캘리퍼 볼트가 심하게 녹슬어 있었음. 신차 볼트, 패드로 교체하고 윤활유 도포 후에도 고속도로에서 다시 브레이크 과열 냄새 발생. 로컬 도로에서는 문제 없었고 귀가 시 캘리퍼 정상 온도로 복구됨.

2008 Jetta 2.5L SE, 따뜻한 날씨(16°C 이상)에서 밤새 휴차 후 차량 잠금 해제 시 OEM 배터리 전압이 12.15V에서 시작하여 몇 초 후 12.27V로 급상승한 후 12.32V까지 천천히 상승. 원격 도어 잠금 해제, 계기판 자동 켜짐, 풋 라이트 켜짐 등의 부하 발생 시 이런 현상 발생.

2002 2.4L 4기통 미쓰비시 갤런트, 캠축 위치 센서(캠샤프트 포지션 센서) 교체 오류코드 발생. 센서 불량으로 인한 시동 문제 발생. 사용자가 직접 교체 가능하며, OEM 부품과 저가 호환품/비정품 선택 시 차이점 궁금함.

2003 시트로엥 C5의 에어컨 시스템이 냉매 부족 상태. 시스템 용량은 냉매유 135ml. 레시버 드라이어 교체 중. 냉매 충전 시 얼마나 많은 냉매유를 추가해야 하는지 불명확.

타이어 트레드 마모가 차량의 속도계 정확도에 영향을 미치는지 확인 필요. 신품 타이어와 마모된 타이어 사이의 속도 차이, 그리고 다른 사이즈의 휠로 교체했을 때 속도계 오차 정도에 대한 정보 필요.

한 달 전 스타터 교체 후 시동이 잘 걸렸으나 오늘 갑자기 키를 돌리면 전원이 완전히 꺼짐. 점프 스타트, 배터리 충전, 스타터 직결해도 안 됨. 키를 끄고 몇 분 후 다시 시도하면 전원이 돌아오지만 온 위치로 돌리면 한 번의 클릭 후 전원 차단 또는 클릭 없이 전원 차단 상태 반복

2002 VW 파사트 왜건 2.8 V6, 97k마일. 고객이 도로의 움푹한 곳을 지날 때 진동 불평, 특히 현저함. 시험 운전으로 확인됨 - 조향휠에서 고주파 버징/셔더링(조향력 없이 순수 진동만), 모든 속도에서 감지되나 미약함. 급가속 및 현가 압축 시 급격히 증가. 약 60mph에서 썬루프 딸거림.

쇼크업소버 교환

1994 Ford Crown Victoria (경찰용 인터셉터)의 상부 볼 조인트 교체 시 부품 선택에 대한 혼동. 일부 상부 볼 조인트(예: ACDelco)는 운전석/조수석으로 표시되어 있으나, 다른 부품(Moog, Motorcraft)은 좌우 구분이 없음. 양쪽에 모두 장착 가능한지 확인 필요.

얼터네이터 교환

배터리를 새로 교체하고 올터네이터를 교체한 후, 점프로 시동은 걸리고 주행은 가능하지만 공회전 중에 엔진이 꺼짐. 키를 돌려도 전혀 반응 없음 (계기판 불빛 등 모두 꺼짐). 새 배터리가 완전히 방전된 상태.

변속기 오일 교환

현대 티뷰론 GT에서 신호대기 중 기어 변속이 멈춤. 현재 시동을 꺼도 기어가 들어가지 않음. 클러치 페달을 밟으면 압력감이 있지만 기어봉이 기어로 물리지 않음.

Fiat Tipo 66 플레이트 차량이 시동이 간헐적으로 걸림. 예를 들어 오전 6시 30분에 시동이 잘 걸렸다가 오전 8시에 시동을 걸려고 하면 걸리지 않고 클릭음만 남. 점프 스타트는 효과가 없지만 밀어서 시동을 걸면 매번 작동함.
