I recently sold my Volvo V60 R Design, nice car, nice engine (5 cylinder of course..mmmm) but didn't do anything else for me, silly low profile tyres (i know spec sensitive), potentially ruinous in all aspects, and just wasn't being used mainly, a depreciating asset costing me money just sat there! - so sold it, got a good price as the used market is still silly, but good for sellers of course.So, we have been down to a one car family, the BMW E91 is still trooping along, we have managed fine with the one car up to now with abit of juggling, but - I have been tempted to buy a cheap shed/run ab

Lowering a vehicle affects many aspects related to suspension geometry and aerodynamics. I am trying to understand these phenomena better. 1993 Acura Integra의 쇼크 교체 중 lower shock mount 볼트의 self-locking nut이 풀리지 않음. Liquid Wrench와 임팩트 드라이버 사용했으나 효과 없음. 서스펜션 마운트 구조상 nut/bolt/shock 조립체가 함께 회전하는 것으로 추정됨.

2009 혼다 어코드. 최근 4개 휠 브레이크 정비 후, 차량 시동 후 처음 브레이크를 밟을 때 윙윙거리는/부글거리는 소리가 난다. 몇 번 브레이크를 밟으면 사라지고, 차량이 한동안 주차되어 있다가 다시 운행하면 재발한다. 브레이크 성능은 정상이고 그라인딩 느낌은 없다. 액체성 소리로 들린다.

2013 혼다 시빅 LX에서 제동 시 진동 발생. 혼다 정품 로터와 패드를 교체한 후 역주행 및 전진 중 제동 시 큰 금속 노킹음 발생. 조향 방향을 바꿀 때마다 한 번씩 노킹음 발생. 며칠 후 제동 시 진동이 재발생하고 연속적인 금속 클릭음 발생.

2000 쉐보레 실버라도 1500(4.8L 엔진) - 브레이크 페달에 압력이 없음. 마스터 실린더, 스테인레스 스틸 브레이크 라인(마스터에서 ABS, 네 바퀴까지), ABS 컨트롤 모듈을 모두 새것으로 교체했지만 문제 지속. 브레이크는 작동하지만 페달 압력이 없음.

브레이크 진공 부스터의 한쪽은 진공이고 다른 쪽은 대기압일 때, 왜 진공 쪽으로 자동으로 빨려 들어가지 않는가? 진공이 충분하지 않다면 브레이킹 후 브레이크 피스톤은 어떻게 원래 위치로 돌아가는가? 진공만으로 돌아가는 것인가? 영상에서 본 것처럼 브레이크 피스톤이 손가락으로 밀기가 매우 힘들다면, 진공만으로 어떻게 그것을 당길 수 있는가?

올해 초 브레이크에서 쇳소리가 나기 시작했습니다 (특히 아침이나 추운 날씨에). 마모된 패드의 특유한 고음이 아니라 매끈해진 패드와 로터의 '갈리는' 소리였습니다. 검사 결과 로터가 상당히 반짝이고 지나치게 매끄러웠으며, 패드는 아직 여유가 있었지만 글레이징이 심했습니다.
