I owned a 200 that turned out to be the UK Press launch car and did over 100k in it. Very under rated car and deceptively quick. Brakes and oil was all that ever needed changing. Id have another if I didn't now have a Megane 275.
S600BSB said: I was thinking the same! I think the audio control stalk thingy is the same too..Lots of the dash components are shared too, along with the air vents.I did 24k in my Clio 220T over 2 years. It did a good job on the motorway stuff back and fore to work, and it was properly exciting to drive when you stuck it in manual/race and really drove it.I had a few minor gripes - grabby brakes (I assume Renault compensating for the the lack of Brembos with a larger servo), very hard ride, and occasionally dimwitted gear choices in 'normal' mode. Sport improved things but it did tend to hang on too long. The car felt like it needed a "Normal+" in between the two.It was however the car that made me realise that automatics are not for me. No slight on the gearbox itself, it was super fast, but I always felt I could make better gear choices than the car (not just this car, any auto) and went back to a manual Megane Cup afterwards.Enjoy it though! If you're into the dual clutch/paddles thing then it's a properly fun car.

Massive bill for a simple fix. It got me think back to my dads mk3 mondeo which was meant to be a bumper off job to swap a headlight bulb. I think the 2nd gen Renault Megane was the same. What else is there out there that requires a degree in engineering, a 4 poster lift and a snap on lorry full of tools to change a fuse or something equally as easy?

BMW M5
Lovely ready and I love your choice!! The E60 was one of the best M5s I ever had - On road and track Use it, and enjoy every moment of the magnificent engine!! I did more track days in my E60 than all my other cars in the past combined I would hazard a guess at. So many fond memories. My advice, put a decent set of brakes on it, I ended up with 12 Piston Calipers and 400mm rotas with all the track days I did and it really transformed it and the confidence it gave to the car.

I'm very observant when driving or walking, the other day I walked my son to school alongside a busy road, I reckon 80% of the cars that passed me were looking down at phones. I had a van pull out on me on a roundabout a few months ago and then slam his brakes on, phone clearly visible so I submitted the footage to TVP and to my surprise they sent me a letter confirming a prosecution. The amount of times I've had to swerve recently because of cars swerving onto my side of the road is diabolical.

I think it is a shame to lose one of the distinctive features of the 944 (the wrap around rear screen).Proportions from rear three-quarters are also a bit too Scimitar for my taste but each to their own.

Love shooting brakes where the change doesn't detract from the original or adds something like the Z3 "clowns shoe"or this:but a thought, they've modified the " chassis"or monocoque, so i this ry would it have to go through IVA
