Surely the correct answer is the man brings the cars to the front door when sir wishes to go out? However, for us mere mortals... I reverse all three on to the drive but no idea why, probably because it slopes down towards the road therefore it just feels better with them pointing down when parked. The last thing in the garage was an 850 estate, always went in backwards as the door would hit the spoiler... alas I'm not blessed with a garage the size of an aircraft hanger either, sadly.

Having drifted in and out of PH for a few years, and particularly enjoyed perusing Readers' Cars threads - 1275GT's Rover SD1, theadman's Facel Vega, and AndrewCrown's Silver Shadow being particular highlights - I thought I'd pop this in as a bit of a curio.I had seen this at an auction a couple of years ago but only got round to buying it last summer. I can completely understand why McLaren would want to offer an SUV. Like Porsche with the Cayenne (that was despised from the outset), if they pull it off it will be the car that provides them with a future.If it's sub 150 then I would imagine it would be quite a seller.

Healthy premium mostly because it's barely used, and it's not one you'd exactly invest in for it to beautify your collection is it?I can certainly appreciate the niche of a small yet 'premium' runabout car though being basically a pure cosmetic job and an odd looking one at that surely didn't help it then or now.

It has been a while. My last thread here was my Boxster, Jan 2023. I've been on dad duties since then and tbh the Boxster did me so dirty it more or less put me off toy cars for quite some time. 3 years, 4 months and 30 days to be exact at time of writing this. So why the change of heart? Bit of a long story to a question no one was actually asking but I found myself missing something to have a play around with on weekends and faff about with through the summer. Someone's been busy cutting things about to prove a point. I imagine the construction on those is interesting given the design and materials they started from. Also that rear bed looks very high and shallow when you get to see inside, from outside it looks more regularly dimensioned than it actually is.Edited by JoshSm on Wednesday 16th September 12:27

Couldn’t possibly go wrong with a 4th.Yea my nephews PL had the centre arm rest, I do really like it but they seem to be quite expensive. Well driven the car now. I got the cooling system bled up, or rather it bled itself. Can confirm the low speed fan is now working. The driving experience as one could imagine has been much improved. The overall impression is it feels much more eager to accelerate, almost as if it has more power but if the wheels aren’t moving around in the arches the transfer of power is going to be better. The front end is much more direct and corners especially are improve
