Couldn’t possibly go wrong with a 4th.Yea my nephews PL had the centre arm rest, I do really like it but they seem to be quite expensive. Well driven the car now. I got the cooling system bled up, or rather it bled itself. Can confirm the low speed fan is now working. The driving experience as one could imagine has been much improved. The overall impression is it feels much more eager to accelerate, almost as if it has more power but if the wheels aren’t moving around in the arches the transfer of power is going to be better. The front end is much more direct and corners especially are improve

It's been a while since any sort of update so thought I'd bring (at least me) up to date. The mini has been sat mostly with the rear interior pulled out and clogging up the garage for the last month or so. Reason being I attempted to (and partially succeeded) in upgrading the speakers front and rear. If I haven't specified already I went for:6X9's in the rear (150wrms - this will become relevant soon) and 6.5" components (100wrms) up front with adaptor rings. I know Edge is a bit of a budget brand but this is a budget car, They apparently give a warm, relaxed bassy sound which I like. Coupled with the 8" active Alpine in the boot my assumption is it will give a really nice sound that's quite weighty. The front install went without a hitch really and was quite enjoyable, taking me back 20 years when I was installing pretty much the same equipment in my 318is, Celica GT4 & Rover 216 GTI, plus a few others. I have enough Silent Coat (cheap Dynamat) to cover most of the doors and rear quarters but again this isn't meant to be the last word in sound fidelity, I put on just enough to hopefully reduce the majority of panel resonance and rattles. I find a little goes quite a long way with sound deadening, the front doors now really much more solid when closing etc. I also opted for a foam section sat on the inside of the door skin to further dampen things, also a foam ring on the front of there speaker in between it and the inside of the door card to further attempt to get as much sound as possible into the cabin rather than than bouncing around the inside of the door So that's the fronts done, ran som tunes through them from the Sony HU and all is good, wasn't pushing them as like them to bed in before tuning them up.OK so let's do the rears.
