새 디젤 엔진 차량에 연료가 거의 없을 때(25마일 남음) 주유 후 약 100마일 주행 중 연료 오염으로 인한 것 같은 표준적인 진동 발생. 디젤을 주입했을 가능성이 99.99%이지만, 휘발유를 실수로 주입했을 가능성에 대한 우려.

2005 Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCI 커먼레일 터보 디젤에서 엔진룸 아래쪽, 연료필터 주변에서 흰색 연기가 대량 발생. 연료필터 본체가 매우 뜨거움. 엔진 화재 위험으로 차량 사용 중단.

2002 닛산 센트라(주행거리 80,000km)에서 외부 온도가약 32°C 이상이고 10마일 이상 주행할 때 엔진이 심하게 미스파이어 발생(연료 부족 같은 현상). 이 중에 타코미터가 불규칙하게 움직임. 미스파이어가 점점 빈번해지다가 결국 엔진 정지. 약 30분 후 엔진이 다시 냉각되면 정상 작동. 겨울에는 같은 거리 주행 시 문제 없음. 지난 여름 점검등이 켜져 딜러 방문했을 때 4개 점화 코일(ignition coil) 교체 필요 진단 받음.

1998 머스탕 V6. 겨울에 눈 위 경사진 드라이브웨이에서 탈출 시도 중 엔진을 과하게 레빙했고, 엔진이 스터터링한 후 시동이 꺼짐. 그 이후로 시동이 걸리지 않음. 크랜킹은 정상이지만 시동이 안 걸림. 온라인에서 찾은 정보에 따르면 과한 부하로 인해 '긴급' 연료 라인 스위치가 작동했을 가능성이 있으나 찾을 수 없음.

연료펌프가 전기식인 이유와 드라이브벨트 어셈블리의 일부가 아닌 이유를 이해하고 싶음. 연료펌프가 연료탱크 내부에 위치하는 이유를 궁금해함. 펌프가 탱크 외부에 위치해도 흡입 호스/라인이 탱크 바닥에 잠겨있으면 상관없을 것으로 생각함.

연료 탱크 내부 연료 펌프 주변의 개스킷이 손상되어 누유 발생. 교체용 개스킷을 구할 수 없음.

보트의 Ford Lehman 2712E 엔진에서 연료 희석(fuel dilution) 문제 발생. 지난 여름 내내 문제가 지속됨. 두 명의 정비사와 함께 연료 레일과 고압 분사펌프를 점검했으나 해결되지 않음. 엔진 가동 후 몇 시간 내에 오일 레벨이 다시 증가함. 겨울철 보트를 보관 중이고 엔진은 가동되지 않았으나, 1주일 후 빌지가 검은 오일로 오염됨. 보트가 경사진 상태로 보관 중.

2004 Cadill� SRX V8 프론트 우측과 리어 좌측 타이어가 34 psi, 나머지 두 휠이 28 psi입니다. 밸브 스템이 고착되어 있어서 플라이어로도 제거되지 않습니다. 타이어 압력 편차가 연비에 미치는 영향과 교체 시기를 궁금해합니다.

2008 Ford Focus 오일 드레인 볼트가 고착되어 있음. 이전 정비소에서 과도하게 조였고 나사산이 손상됨. 'Liquid Wrench' 및 여러 크기의 렌치를 사용했으나 움직이지 않음. 차가운 상태와 따뜻한 상태 모두에서 시도했으나 해결 안 됨.

인테이크 매니폴드가 모든 연료 분사기에 연료를 균등하게 분배한다고 읽었는데, 연료 레일도 정확히 같은 역할을 한다고 읽었습니다. 뭔가 빠뜨린 게 있는 것 같습니다.

2005 렉서스 GX470의 오일 교환 후 매일 아침 신선한 오일이 고임. Jiffy Lube에서 2회 재방문했으나 누유를 찾지 못함. 오일팬 세척 후에도 해결되지 않음.

2012 Honda Civic 오일 교환 시 권장 오일 타입 확인 필요. 제조사 권장은 0W-20 합성유인데, 유튜브 댓글에서 californian이 5W-20 합성유가 열 저항성이 더 우수하다고 주장함. 남부 캘리포니아의 고온 지역에서 실제로 5W-20이 더 나은지 확인 필요.

Key consideration was it has to carry MTB (on the roof for ease), a dog (inside, not on the roof) and be able to sit on the Motorway every now and again. Performance was not really a consideration, no desire to take the dog for an early morning spirited drive or hurtle around bends with my bike perched on top. As per the thread title, the Cross was preferred and so a Panda hunt commenced. First impressions are, love it. Engine is quirky, I did expect th
