What now?most of the time an NA engine is lighter than its boosted equivalent, as once you add up the intercoolers, pipe work, turbos, water pumps, extra ducting etc etc the simpler case wins GMAV12 is a case in point as that weighs 178Kg fully dressed, the Mclaren turbo V8 weighs 190Kg and thats not including the guff I've mentioned above. yes there's power to be had over the NA obviously but how much grunt can you actually use ? Especially if the car is closer to the 1000Kg mark
