Being a long time reader of PH but infrequent contributor, I thought I'd start a readers cars thread, who knows, some may be interested. I bought the cars in 2025 so this will be a bit of a 'diary' from then up to now.Over the last 20 years I've owned a number of classic Fords, namely Capris 2.8i and 3.0 Ghia, Cortina Ghia, RS Focus Mk1, and Escorts Mk1, 2 and 3.They were mostly decent to very good condition and I joined the Capri Club NI and went to various shows and runs. Then around 9 years ago I got a bit bored with it all and sold my Capri and Cortina and just got on with other things.A

Got loads done yesterday with my buddies help. Got the rear brake a mocked up so I could fit so hose tabs. My buddy got all the crusty bits all cleaned up and ready to paint. I cleaned up the suspension arms as although there in good condition, there that light grey colour, I want everything black. Well pleased that's all done, as been dreading the clean up and painting as I hate it. All the ex escort parts were in abit of a state I'm guessing never been done. My other half's car for the last 5 years has been a Mercedes ML350cdi. To it's credit it's was one of the most comfortable cars we've owned. Incredibly practical for a family of five but it was becoming costly. 시동키를 삽입하고 시동 위치로 돌린 후 엔진이 시작되어도 스타터가 계속 크랭크됨. 점화를 끄고 키를 제거해도 스타터가 계속 크랭크됨. 솔레노이드, 점화 실린더, 스타터를 교체했음. 스타터가 계속 작동하도록 하는 원인이 무엇인지 확인 필요.
