alright them update time, apologies for the video, was was pretty tippys by the time i edited that.https://youtube.com/shorts/L1sC_47IFYg?si=O5WgHYsv...so this little fledgling decided he wanted to check on the build progress. that wrote a few hours off waiting from him to get out my garage my dads been at the 3d printer again. this is perfect as it hides the connectors. and angles it so i can see it. as well as give me a spot for the encoders for the screen . really pleased with ow thats come out. friday before last i loaded it on my buddys truck and headed to guy higgs tuning. luckily the truck has such odd proportions as that's actually as far as it will go before high centering on the gearbox i was really nervous about the dyno, not being able to shake it down or test it in anyway. was proper stressful for me. never been so unprepared for the dyno. but i shouldn't have worried the only gremlins we had were computer side. we had a some strange behaviour from the O2 sensor. and the idle control was being a bit fussy. i think that could be the PCV valve to as the f20 actually idles through the PCV system. off the truck i think she made high 230's and then she was faultless all day pretty much every run was a mirror of the last. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Zk0AG_SCCgYGuy let me do the final run. still shaking my head in disbelief after 2 back to back 250 runs she had a slight gearbox leak which i cant trace it seams to have come from the tailshaft housing to main box joint. which i think is a thing on s2000 boxes. however i can seem to make it leak at home so i suspect not until i have it proper up to temp will it return. the other one was the cooling system is up to the job it burped a bit of fluid initially (i over filled it i think i'm still learning the levels with no expansion tank) i've decided to fit an overflow tank as it should be able to suck any fluid back in through the cap so it doesn't loose any. good old ebay £40 for a beautiful
