WilliamWoollard said: Unfortunately the act of driving is the last thing many, many people are thinking about when driving. They just point the car down the road until something gets in their way, that's it.This perfectly describes my brother. He ignores all speed limits, to the point I've seen him touch 50 in residential roads if there's nothing stopping him. He's not even into speed, he's just lazily accelerating until he encounters an obstacle. Also brakes hard behind a slower vehicle in L1, lose all momentum, finally overtake then sit in L2 until he leaves the motorway. He is simply only r

Then we d both slow down together to the truck speed! On the M40 especially, this could happen multiple times per journey. It got so that I d just indicate and push out and usually they d back off or go into L3 - they never sped up to get out of the way. Now and again a driver would get all irate about it - I d probably be reluctant to do it now due to the prevalence of dash cams.I came home down the M40 from Warwick to High Wycombe on Sunday afternoon and L1 is mostly empty nowadays. Which may be why some tw*t in a blacked out Range Rover decided to use L1 and L2 to overtake everyone in L3 stuck behind some wheezy shopping car for 3 or 4 miles. But if the knobs in L2 had been in L1 the wheezy shopping car could have been in L2. Lane discipline doesn't seem to have existed for a long time in the UK. What I've never understood is "Keep in the left lane unless overtaking" but also "Do not overtake on the left or move to a lane on your left to overtake" the latter would not be possible unless the former is being flouted.I do pass people in L1 if they are a MLH and have been for miles. More often than not they don't even keep left after that!TX.

Lovely ready and I love your choice!! The E60 was one of the best M5s I ever had - On road and track Use it, and enjoy every moment of the magnificent engine!! I did more track days in my E60 than all my other cars in the past combined I would hazard a guess at. So many fond memories. My advice, put a decent set of brakes on it, I ended up with 12 Piston Calipers and 400mm rotas with all the track days I did and it really transformed it and the confidence it gave to the car.

I'm very observant when driving or walking, the other day I walked my son to school alongside a busy road, I reckon 80% of the cars that passed me were looking down at phones. I had a van pull out on me on a roundabout a few months ago and then slam his brakes on, phone clearly visible so I submitted the footage to TVP and to my surprise they sent me a letter confirming a prosecution. The amount of times I've had to swerve recently because of cars swerving onto my side of the road is diabolical.

I think it is a shame to lose one of the distinctive features of the 944 (the wrap around rear screen).Proportions from rear three-quarters are also a bit too Scimitar for my taste but each to their own.

Love shooting brakes where the change doesn't detract from the original or adds something like the Z3 "clowns shoe"or this:but a thought, they've modified the " chassis"or monocoque, so i this ry would it have to go through IVA
