2000 Ford Ranger (V6, 4.0L, 디스크/드럼 브레이크) 좌측 후륜 브레이크 슈 스프링이 부러져서 고속도로에서 브레이크가 완전히 걸린 상태로 주행했습니다. 주차 후 좌측 후륜이 매우 뜨거워져 있었고, 후륜 휠/허브/드럼이 심하게 손상되었습니다.

What a fantastic car! Even on 180,000 miles and as is often the case with a workshop loan car, rather dirty and unloved, it drove brilliantly with no rattles and the 1.6 TDI pulled really well (much stronger and quieter than the 1.5 dCi in my Renault), which was a surprise and it was still averaging 50mpg. 서버반이 급한 경사진 드라이브웨이에서 연료 부족 상태로 주행 중 연료펌프가 갑자기 차단됨. 새 연료펌프로 교체 후 배선 커넥터를 접합했으나, 시동을 걸어도 연료펌프가 작동하지 않음. 정상적으로는 시동 시 펌프 음성이 들려야 함.

전기차(Tesla 제외)의 주행거리가 너무 짧음. 트렁크 공간을 줄이고 배터리 용량을 늘려 주행거리를 확장하고 싶지만, 공식적인 옵션(보증 유지, DIY 제외)이 없음. Nissan, VW 그룹, Renault 등 다른 제조사에서 배터리 팩 업그레이드 옵션을 제공하는지 확인 필요.

핸들이 직진 시 중앙에서 벗어남, 차량이 한쪽으로 쏠림, 핸들 진동 등의 증상으로 휠 얼라인먼트 필요 여부를 판단하기 어려움. 서스펜션 부품 교체나 휠/타이어 변경 후 얼라인먼트가 필요한 시기를 명확히 파악하고 싶음.
