I'm glad it's not just me a bit perplexed by this - to me an allroad should cope happily with the crappier road surfaces and happily trundle around a muddy national trust car park, and equipped with winter tyres be perfect in cold snowy places (or the family trip to the Alps. I'm not sure this has hit the spot by being so wide it'll struggle to fit anywhere in Devon, let alone Cornwall - at least plastic arches would have shrugged off some of the undergrowth scars, and those diamond cut wheels aren't going to cope with anything rough or rocky. I was going to say it was more of a Dakar/Sterrato mould than Skoda Scout, but I reckon in reality, it's just designed as a trinket. With a difficult to use interior. Should have been catnip to lots on here, whereas the response to this car (and the hardly glowing review) shows how VAG is making a loss due to misaligned product not competition.
