폭우 중 고인 물을 통과한 후 엔진이 스터터링. 높은 지대로 올라가 가속했을 때 엔진 꺼짐. 재시동 후 스터터링 지속, 배기관에서 다량의 수증기 분출. 현재는 정상 작동 중이지만 엔진 손상 우려.

2007 Jaguar S-Type 2.7D: 우회전로 진입 시 왼쪽으로 핸들을 꺾고 중간~높은 수준으로 가속할 때 우측 휠 부근에서 딱딱거리는/긁히는 소음 발생. 휠/타이어에 접촉하는 물체 없음, 눈에 띄는 손상 없음. 가속하지 않을 때는 소음 없음. 우측 휠 베어링은 1년 전 저가 제품으로 교체됨. RWD 차량이므로 프론트 휠에 등속 조인트 없음.

2004 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport (2.5L EJ251 SOHC) 크랭크축 씰 누유 발생. 엔진 블록 앞쪽 씰 접촉면에 약 1x1x2mm 크기의 작은 홈 발견. 사용자가 고려 중인 방법: (1) 씰을 홈을 피하기 위해 2-3mm 더 깊게 밀어 넣기, (2) 에폭시로 메우고 연마하기

2013 기아 씨드, 장거리 주행(약 200km) 후 높은 음역대의 윙윙거리는 음성 발생. 정차 시 크게 들리며 주행 중에는 엔진음에 묻힘. 라디오와 에어컨을 끄면 미약하게 들리지만 속도나 RPM에 따라 변하지 않음. 다음날 사라졌다가 다시 장거리 주행 후 재발. 차량 후측에서 발생하며 뒷바퀴 휠 하우징 근처에서 가장 큼.

What a fantastic car! Even on 180,000 miles and as is often the case with a workshop loan car, rather dirty and unloved, it drove brilliantly with no rattles and the 1.6 TDI pulled really well (much stronger and quieter than the 1.5 dCi in my Renault), which was a surprise and it was still averaging 50mpg. It seemed to have held up much better than my Renault even though that's 5 years younger and has done l

What a fantastic car! Think people are being way too harsh on it. A grand in today market and it's got a few mod cons (mainly AC). It's a little ghastly in the white but as a very cheap shed or to do some bits and bobs it's great.
