Had a couple of call-outs over the past few years, and had to buy temporary home start cover at one point.Cover auto-renewed at over £360 last week (I know, was too busy to deal with it at the time). When dealers do re-open, what will be the test drive situation? Last time I asked, one of you mentioned looking into the insurance implications of unaccompanied test drives. Any progress on this? It would be a bit of a PITA for dealers to have to sanitise a car after a test drive, but I'd expect many buyers (PH'ers especially!) would still prefer to take a test drive rather than just commit to a pretty big spend without having even had a try before you buy.

For a while I have had my eye on a small car to sit in-between family car and weekend car duties. Short list was an UP! GTI and a Panda Cross. Key consideration was it has to carry MTB (on the roof for ease), a dog (inside, not on the roof) and be able to sit on the Motorway every now and again.
