The Maserati for me too but only the facelift version from 2017 onwards. God knows what age the tech in the infotainment system is in that example.
I don’t get the love for the BMW. That post Bangle, pre-bugs bunny grill era managed the trick of simultaneously being dull with blingy bits tacked on. It would almost certainly be the least reliable after the Mercedes as well. All those German uber barges suffer catastrophic depreciation while under warranty and are wallet melting outside warranty. It’s why so few survive into middle age. Despite what another poster suggested earlier, the Jag would probably be the least problematic and cheapest to run despite the manufacturer reputation. You would really want the supercharger though. I have found parts supply on older Jags to be comprehensive and there are plenty of specialist indys that are much better than the authorised dealers used to be. They make more sense as older cars than they did new as they are typically less complex than the equivalent Germans. One of my neighbours is into older BMWs: he has to hoard parts because they can be hard to find, even for relatively modern ones (late 90s). You could probably make the same argument for the Bentley or the Maserati. Especially the Bentley as it is from an earlier era and doesn’t have the complicated electronics of later cars.

Some other manufacturers like Volvo and Mercedes were well known for them tooHowever, this evening I randomly found the following image of a Talbot Solaro, and it got me thinking about what other cars are there where headlight wipers were availableA few others that spring to mind:Any other obscure ones?

Priced at £5000 less with some stonking finance deals, it should have done better.....but was it just too expensive to build? The big gap between the outgoing cars and the new one is a good idea and possibly intentional to create the biggest possible impact. I think this is going to do very well indeed. I'm looking forward to it, and seeing my first one on the road. If they couldn't build cars well enough to compete with Audi, BMW, and Mercedes or lo

I've got my Phaeton with the 6HP to do soon, a bit more involved as a job, but it's already had a box and a torque converter in the last 50k, so it hasn't been left forever without maintenance - I've heard the 6HP19s seem to like to give trouble! It's my first torque converter auto (in 70 cars of manuals, and 1 DSG!)If I'd kept my old E320cdi I'd have certainly ended up getting the gearbox serviced. I bought it with 104k on

This looks fantastic. I think it's got to a point you'd have to be daft to buy the G90 M5 over this or a top end Taycan. Either pure combustion or pure electric, the PHEVs are just a pointless, overcomplicated middle option

Still as subtle as a brick in your face. Not for me.

Other than a slightly bulky rear end, I think that looks fantastic. 9/10. And it's a saloon, not another bloody SUV - hurrah!
