Our landscaping company is going to purchase a new medium duty truck. We have diesels and had just defaulted into looking for another diesel powered truck. However the mechanic we use (and trust) said that we should consider gas engines for a number of reasons: Initial cost for gas engine is lower Mileage is similar/diesel oil is more expensive than gas Gas engines more suited for the short-trip (2 - 10 mile) type driving we do. Well, good luck to them persisting with it. But Hydrogen power is a proven dead end as a means of propulsion. Way too inefficient to make, and way too hard to handle to be practical en masse. And the line about Japan not having its own natural resources…..how does hydrogen fix that vs electricity?Keep fossil fuel ICE for the special/hard to electrify use cases, and everything else goes electric. Emissions slashed to sustainable levels, everybody happy. Even those who don’t understand physics.

수동 변속기 카뷔레터 스즈키 스위프트 1996 세단 모델에서 2단 감속 후 가속할 때 급하게 진동함. 플러그와 에어 필터 교환, 초프 밸브(스로틀 밸브) 수리 후 일시적으로 개선되었으나 500마일 이상 주행 후 재발함. 공회전 RPM은 0.7~0.9k로 설정됨. 진동은 엔진 노킹음 없이 갑작스러운 연속 추진력처럼 느껴짐.

2001년식 혼다 CR-V의 에어컨이 앞자리에서는 찬바람이 나오지만, 한여름에 뒷자리에서는 시원하지 않음. A/C 클러치가 작동하지 않으면 약간의 찬바람이라도 나올까? 클러치 작동음(클릭음)이 들리지 않으며, 육안으로도 확인할 수 없음. 냉매 충전량도 다시 확인 필요.

2005 Chevy Silverado 듀얼존 에어컨이 간헐적으로 운전석은 뜨거운 바람, 조수석은 찬바람을 분출합니다. 처음엔 정상 작동하다가 몇 분 후부터 뜨거운 바람이 계속 나옵니다. 주차 후 시간이 지나면 다시 정상으로 돌아옵니다. 항상 발생하는 것은 아닙니다. 진공 또는 전기 문제로 추정됩니다.

2002 닛산 알메라 1.8L AT 차량의 CSV613 변배기 에어컨 컴프레서 제어 방식 이해 필요. 변배기 컴프레서는 스와시 플레이트가 움직여서 배기량을 변화시키는데, 단일 전기 커넥터(클러치 코일용으로 추정)만 보임. ECU가 스와시 플레이트 변위를 어떻게 제어하는지 이해 불가.

The first can run 265 miles, the second 270. Given that in the former the battery has to feed only one motor and in latter it has to feed two, why the first has a more limited ride distance?

2016년 10월 1일 폭스바겐 딜러에서 교체한 배터리가 최상의 상태가 아닐 수 있음. 배터리의 색상 점은 '9/16'이고 음극 근처에 '3216' 표기가 있음. 이를 2016-W32(2016년 8월 8-14주)로 해석하면 구매 시점으로부터 약 1-2개월 이전 제조. 배터리의 색상 점이 현재 월보다 약 1개월 앞서는 것으로 보임.

폭스바겐 골프(해치백)(골프7) - 리드맥스 배터리로 교체 후: 노즈가 가벼워지고 운전감이 개선됨. 스마트폰으로 배터리 상태 모니터링 가능. 충전 방식을 리튬으로 변경 필요. 충전 속도가 매우 빠름(급속 충전).

모토홈을 견인하며 뒤에 차를 매달고 다니는데, 핸들 잠금 해제를 위해 악세서리 모드를 유지해야 해서 배터리가 빨리 방전됨. 모토홈 충전기를 차 배터리에 연결하려고 하는데, 시동 시 역전류(특히 디젤 시동 시 큰 전력 소비)로 인한 차 배터리의 모토홈으로의 역급전을 방지하기 위해 다이오드 추가를 원함.

2004 혼다 오디세이가 시동이 걸리지 않음. 엔진이 크랭크되지 않지만 배터리나 배터리 연결에는 문제가 없음 (실내등, 라디오 등은 정상 작동). 키를 ON 위치로 돌렸을 때 트랜스미션 대시 표시기의 D 라이트가 몇 초간 켜져 있었고 모터가 돌아가거나 윙윙거리는 소리가 들림.

배터리 교환

차량을 몇 시간 꺼두었다가 시동을 걸면 에어컨이 처음 20분 이상 완벽하게 작동하고 찬바람이 잘 나온다. 때로는 계속 잘 작동하기도 하지만, 날씨가 매우 덥거나 습할 때는 송풍구 출력이 서서히 줄어들어 거의 미미한 수준이 된다 (설정을 건드리지 않았는데도). 냉기는 여전히 느껴지지만 송풍량이 감소한다. 그 와중에 송풍 모터는 계속 최대로 작동한다. 송풍 모터, 각종 센서, 에어컨 제어 콘솔이 교체되었고 냉각수도 배출되었다.
