You've really got to need a old 5 seat SUV with a VW badge to be even thinking about it....Indeed, I remember looking at these at the time as my local Motorpoint always had nearly new low mileage examples for about £26/£27k from memory as my budget was £25k plus some creep/haggling.I've always done 15k+ miles per year and the thought of the fuel bill scared me so went for an E-Class estate in diesel at the time and glad I did.
