증상
1994 Ford Escort, 엔진 헤드 교체 후 냉각수 서서히 누수. 엔진 오일 변색 없음, 차 아래 누수 흔적 없음. 시속 70km에서는 정상, 시속 50-60km에서 한 실린더가 꺼진 듯한 이상 증상. 약 80km 주행 후 증상 발생.
처리 내용
먼저 연료 압력과 스파크 플러그 점화 확인. 연료 압력 테스트 포트에서 테스트 게이지로 연료 압력 측정, 인라인 스파크 플러그 테스터로 각 실린더 점화 확인. 체크 엔진 경고등 점등 여부 확인. 엔진이 회전하는지 확인. 과열 발생 시 헤드 가스켓 손상 가능성 높음 - 헤드 교체 후 가스켓이 처음부터 불량일 수 있음. 냉각수 소모는 헤드 가스켓 불량의 신호. 과열로 인해 헤드 워핑, 피스톤 링 손상, 피스톤 용융, 블록 손상 등 심각한 엔진 손상 가능. 엔진 시동 후 손상 정도 파악 필요.

I bought one of these 3 years ago for £21k it had 19k miles on it and all factory options ticked aside from heated steering wheel and colour changing interior lights.For the money I could have bought a semi ropey 90k+ miles German saloon of similar spec and power and would have spend money fixing the higher mileage problems that they would have come with.As it stands, coming up to 37k miles I've paid for new tyres, brakes and a coolant bottle because it had a hairline crack the MOT history is and always has been a clear pass, not a single advisory and I get to hear a supercharged V6 every time
