This is a story about an impulse purchase that doesn't make a great deal of sense. I wanted a car to keep my other CLK away from the winter weather, and for some reason - despite having two ongoing projects - I fancied a quick restoration project (the other two projects are more about engineering and integration). I really like the 209 CLK for the way it looks and drives; it isn't sporty at all, but it is smooth, quiet, and feels like a quality car. The multi-cylinder engines offer electric car quiet when wafting but have a very pleasing sound when opened up. The pre-facelift cars from 2003 on

Was expecting this to be dirt cheap, didn't realise these W204s commanded that kind of money.Still pretty remarkable value, I'd love a wagon version if petrol wasn't so ridiculously expensive. Pity about the tints on this one. Another nice car ruined by chav glass!

Citroen were making far more interesting interiors in the 70s and 80s. This make a Polestar or Tesla look flamboyant!

서브프레임 문제가 많이 발생하고 있음. Mercedes는 무상 교체를 해주던 것이 이제는 더 이상 하지 않음. 118k 마일 CLK인데 가격이 저렴한 이유가 의문스러움.

Sad to see that negotiation to renew the lease at Beaulieu have broken down. Anyone got a spare large garage for the museum to move to?

Somewhat of an oddball looker in contrast to the original DBS which is an absolute stunner. turning it 5 door and that grill design doesn’t help, the interior colour choice is something else entirely.

A bit of hearsay and conjecture on this thread but the Charity Commission has their last returns (2024) as ingoing and outgoing expenditure as roughly the same, about £3.5 million per year for each? Fascinating that it counts as a charity but that's a separate conversation. For those one here talking about £1 mill losses a week and huge salaries can you evidence that? Genuine question, I'm not sure whether the finances are also hidden within Beaulieu estates.

If we're doing slowing down: motorway junction slowing.... I have a local motorway junction that has two off ramps within a half mile. Some drivers are down to 40mph as they approach. I can't tell if it's worrying about speed of turn, or looking for direction signs, or just having to think rather than drive aimlessly and without thought on a section without junctions...

스포츠 서스펜션(코드 486)이 너무 딱딱해서 승차감이 불편함. 더 부드러운 논-스포츠 서스펜션으로 변경하고 싶음.
