Sad to see that negotiation to renew the lease at Beaulieu have broken down. Anyone got a spare large garage for the museum to move to?

Dr Teeth and The Electric Mayhem said: The museum has been losing money for years and years, to the tune of one million quid a week I heard. The rest of the Beaulieu estate is very profitable and has been subsidising it for a very long time. A member of the Beaulieu family does not want to inherit a loss making operation apparently .There seems to be a lot of very well paid people there that take a lot out of the enterprise. The Trust finances are kept separate from that of the Beaulieu Estate and that of Beaulieu Enterprises who run the visitor attraction. The Trust is a charity. The lease negotiation involved all three parties and one of them apparently didn’t want to proceed with a new agreement. Without a lease, no lottery funding can be applied for, so the Trust has to move in order to survive. Might be a positive thing eventually for all parties.
