2005 푸조 307 해치백. 5월에 헤드 개스킷 교체 후 3,000km 주행. 교체 당시 오일 누유 있었고 냉각수가 오염됨. 냉각수 완전히 세척되지 않음. 2주 전 냉각수와 오일 점검 시 냉각수 양호, 오일 보충함. 현재 냉각수가 다시 검은색 마시멜로우 같은 색상으로 변하고 오염되며 오일이 섞여있음. 외부 오일 누유 없고 오일 레벨은 2주 전과 동일함.

배터리 교환

2010 혼다 인사이트가 시동이 걸리지 않음. 멀티미터로 배터리 전압을 측정했을 때 10.6V. 브레이크 시스템, 에어백 시스템, ABS 시스템, 승객석 에어백 관련 경고등이 점등됨.

엔진이 실행 중일 때 오일 캡을 제거하고 오일 필 홀에서 나오는 공기(블로우바이)의 양을 확인. 2020년식 코롤라에서 이전에 확인한 2000~2010년식 차량들보다 훨씬 강한 바람이 나옴. 렌탈카이므로 관리가 잘 안 되었을 가능성이 있지만, 저 마일리지의 코롤라가 이렇게 빠르게 엔진이 망가질 수 있는지 의문.

2008 Ford Escape의 오일 수명 표시기가 3%를 보이고 있음. 오일 수명 알고리즘이 오일의 양(볼륨)을 측정하는지, 아니면 오일의 품질을 측정하는지 궁금함.

배터리 단자에 부식이 생겨 있음. 어떤 액체를 사용하는 것이 더 나은지, 그리고 정확한 작업 단계는 무엇인지 궁금함. 제한된 지식으로는 배터리 분리(단자 순서가 중요함), 단자와 포트 청소, 대기, 배터리 재연결 정도만 알고 있음.

'07 폰티악 G6의 캠축 위치 액추에이터 불량으로 인한 경화 변속 증상. 변속기 문제로 오인할 수 있는 현상.

2014 파사트 배터리 방전으로 시동 불가 상태였음. 배터리 점프 후 20분 시내 주행 후 다음날 아침 시동이 느렸으나 시작 가능. 고속도로 약 100마일 주행 후 정상화됨. 최근 배터리에 더 주의를 기울이고 있음.

에어컨 가스 충전

04 쉐보레 말리부 클래식 - 에어컨 버튼을 누르면 작동과 미작동이 반복됨. A/C가 켜져도 무작위로 끄졌다 켜졌다 함 (수 초~15분 간격). 실내 공기 순환 버튼(내기)을 누르고 있으면 A/C가 계속 유지되는 경향 있음. 내기 버튼을 여러 번 누르거나 계속 누르고 있어야 5~15분 동안 A/C가 정상 작동. 팬은 항상 정상 작동.

2011 HHR 검사 불합격 - 브레이크 적용 시 운전석 타이어가 앞뒤로 움직임. 가속 또는 브레이크 시 차량이 옆으로 약간 흔들리거나 미끄러지는 현상 발생. 두 증상이 연관되어 있음.

케블라 사용 타이어의 장점이 무엇인지 알고 싶음. 전통적인 재료로 만든 타이어와 비교하여 케블라 타이어의 실질적인 이점을 파악하고 싶음.

냉각수 교환

일요일에 사용하지 않은 차량을 월요일 오전 8:30에 시동을 걸려고 했으나 시동이 걸리지 않음. 쿨란트가 완전히 없었음을 확인. 오후 4:30에 점프스타트로 시동 시작, 15분 운전 후 15분 뒤 재시동 성공. 수요일 오전 8:30에 다시 시동 불가. 쿨란트 부족으로 인한 엔진 손상 우려.

2005 Chevy Malibu (LS, 3.5L V6)가 저회전에서 가끔 꺼짐. 연료탱크가 가득 찼을 때만 발생하며, 연료량이 3/4 이상으로 떨어지면 문제 해결됨. 2월경 연료펌프 교체 후 시작된 문제.
