It is great to know that there are others choosing to run out of warranty FFRRs, and many with good experiences.dci, thank you for the suggestion of LR Time. I ve seen some of their stuff but not watched the L405 ones. I ll delve into them when I get a chance.In the interests of transparent reporting, I m afraid I have to report another glitch this evening. At about 10:10pm (so well after dark) I was stopped in a traffic queue at a temporary traffic light. Thankfully on a street that was lit and 30mph limit.The L405 was in gear and I had my foot on the brake. I was about 5 minutes into a journey. Without any symptoms, the engine cut out and the dash lit up like a Christmas tree. The gear selector had put itself back into park and retracted. I pressed the start button. Nothing.I put the hazard warning lights on and people kindly started to go round me.I pressed the start button to switch off. I then tried to switch it on again. Nothing.Now a bit worried, I tried again. Nothing.Not very happy about it, I got out into the passing traffic. Shut the door and locked the car. I felt pretty stupid standing in dark blue trousers and a black gilet in the dark close to the passing traffic. After I guess about 20 seconds I unlocked it and got back in. Felt safer. Foot on brake, pressed start. It started, phew! Then drove home, all normal but worried.I remember reading something similar in a Simon George piece in EVO about his orange Lamborghini. He d just had it rebuilt and it was on a trailer behind his L494. He was middle lane of the M1. In congestion he came to a stop. The traffic started moving, but his L494 died and wouldn t restart. He was terrified that his freshly rebuilt Murcielago was about to be taken out by all the traffic now moving past him on both sides. Luckily his L494 restarted and off he went, never for the fault to re-occur.So I m not too sure what to make of what happened with my L405 this evening. It was v
