Well not exactly but way back in the 1970s I drove a friend’s 1600GT and thought “what a great car, I could fancy one of these” however I was always into convertibles and there I stayed. Until yesterday.A train from Oban to Sheffield on Wednesday and a drive home yesterday, over 350 miles in a 2.8 injection that has hardly turned a wheel since 2019. Pushing my luck, nope all went well (ish). My views on the 996 (well the headlamps) are softening. But only if the headlamps are crystal clear like on this one. I've seen too many that have faded and make the car look like it has two big brown blobs on the bonnet. This looks a good 'un!

Very good price for that size and spec of vehicle. I'm keeping everything crossed for the i3 touring being out for deliveries by next Sep as I don't really need an SUV. This is a pretty big car, longer than I really need, but if the i3 isn't out in time, then I could definitely see this replacing my ID3 when it goes back next Autumn.
