Very good price for that size and spec of vehicle. I'm keeping everything crossed for the i3 touring being out for deliveries by next Sep as I don't really need an SUV. This is a pretty big car, longer than I really need, but if the i3 isn't out in time, then I could definitely see this replacing my ID3 when it goes back next Autumn.

They have beautiful high resolution screens that update rapidly and fluidly, been driving a 2023 X1 and the screens are really nice, I am not sure how badly it will date as they could triple the resolution but our eyes wouldnt be able to perceive any difference its so detailed and colourful already, they could update the processing speed ten times but it would still work the same.This tech has reach a point, after 20 plus years in cars where its reliable, effective and a pleasure to use in most cases.The comparison with an Iphone 1 is null and void as that was 2007, compare that to car tech from 2007, not today, they seem slow, tiny, clunky and fuzzy nowadays, this is the progress to the Iphone 16, same progress has happened in cars.Now I am sure there will be developments but the tech in cars has advanced to the point where it works really well, after all its maps, radio, music streaming, voice commands and stuff. There have been some howlers with removing buttons for certain functions and that will date as they re-introduce stuff realising they went a bit far and we all moaned but usability.You buy an older car you get older tech, I bought a ten year old Jag that had a 15 year old plus system, updated it with a £400 unit.And whether something is a classic or not doesnt matter, 99 percent of cars get bought, used for 10 to 20 years then scrapped, someone will save a few due to their affinity with them, whatever that may be.
