Following on from my last Readers' Cars thread... https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&......here's the replacement.It's an e93 330d. OK, so it's a bit boring after an M3, but a good car in it's own right. As mentioned in my Car Buying thread, an automatic diesel convertible perhaps isn't many people's idea of a fun car, but it ticks a lot of boxes and I'm enjoying it so far, treating it for what it is.It's an N57 model, so has 245bhp and 384lb/ft. Plus it's only a remap away from significantly more, although plenty sufficient for now. There's the typical diesel clatter getting up

히터 블로워가 #4 팬 위치에서만 작동. 릴레이/퓨즈 또는 히터 레지스터 요소 고장 의심. 이전에 비슷한 증상이 시그넘에서 발생했었음 (팬이 고착되어 레지스터 고장 유발). 온도계 변동 있었으나 재시작 후 정상화. 최근 610마일 주행했음.

250k miles on this one. High mileage cars appear to gravitate towards me. I went to see this one courtesy of Bolidemichael of this parish. I've wanted an M5 for a while, and this one intrigued me because of the mileage and the fact that the then current owner had done all of it bar 30k! It was either going to be worn out and a waste of time, or well maintained and worth a shot. Luckily for me it was the latter. My high mileage 911 had just slightly broken on me yet not actually failed to proceed (detailed in its own thread). I needed another car while I sorted that out and this fitted the bill

I bought this car on a bit of a whim. It popped up in my favourite Whatsapp group of petrolheads as a link back to this very site's classified section. The price was right, blue on blue was perfect, 3.4 engine ideal, the aero kit was a bonus and the mileage was intriguing. I rang the seller after, ooh, about 30 seconds deliberation with myself over whether I really needed another car right now. As it happened, someone was due to view the car about an hour after I rang. 엔진룸(운전석/우측)에서 회전수에 따라 변하는 휘파람/찍찍거리는 소음 발생. 증상이 매우 불규칙함 - 몇 주간 조용했다가 다시 나타남. 냉간 시동 시에는 거의 들리지 않고 엔진 온도 상승 후에 나타남. 부스트압(가속)에 따라 뚜렷하게 변함. 최근 정비소에서 흡기 매니폴드 씰링 작업 및 엔진/언더 작업 수행.

냉각수 교환

지붕이 천천히 수축되고, 특정 지점에서 멈춘 후 다시 올라감. 지붕을 올릴 때 완전히 고착됨. 운전석 측 지붕 구동 케이블이 모터에서 빠져나감. 왼쪽 톤노 커버 힌지가 약간 휘어짐. 우측 기어박스 연결 브래킷이 심하게 휘어짐.

This should have been written and posted whilst I was sat on a train this afternoon, but our glorious public transport infrastructure royally bit me in the arse when all train in and out of Birmingham New Street due to an issue with overhead power cables.
