Benz17 said: I have read this a lot, about sending money to oil producing nations, but most of the electric companies are also foreign owned, so are we not sending our monies to foreign nations who own these electric companies.Much smaller amount of money though and they pay lease fees and tax to the UK coffers. I think when we export to Europe we also profit, but not sure exactly how the cashflow works there.Edited by plfrench on Saturday 26th September 16:42

By shifting a large element of the UK's energy demand away from overseas energy producers onto the domestic utilities we hugely stabilise the economy and protect it from the toxic shocks of foreign tools and religious loons but we also need to free those utilities from the same people. As for the element of foreign ownership of utilities, the key is to compare the total annual dividend payments that leave the U.K. versus the amount of money that leaves the U.K. via fossil fuel purchases. .

This looks fantastic. I think it's got to a point you'd have to be daft to buy the G90 M5 over this or a top end Taycan. Either pure combustion or pure electric, the PHEVs are just a pointless, overcomplicated middle option

Still as subtle as a brick in your face. Not for me.

Other than a slightly bulky rear end, I think that looks fantastic. 9/10. And it's a saloon, not another bloody SUV - hurrah!
