Years ago, when everyone first started having phones by default - not just a novelty or luxury, you'd often see them driving whilst hold the phone to their ear talking. Watching Matt's preview of the new BMW 3 series he revealed one milestone feature - "Driver Routines" Timestamp: 4:30https://youtu.be/NJJxakiMqgQ?t=270BMW has added driver routines (profiles) with logic conditions (eg. When you start the car) ... to toggle various system including stop/start ... lane assist, speed warnings etc. The profile is bound to the driver entering the car (key).This is very much welcomed but does anyone know why we couldn't have had this much earlier - is it new EU legislation, or have BMW found a clever loophole to bypass the EU regs to avoid having these system always
