When I bought the car, the salesman talked me into getting a 3 year service plan for £300 which seemed like a pretty good deal too good to miss. My fear is that they only change the oil and filter for that service plan but will come up with all sorts of other issues in order to extract extra work that doesn't need doing. The car has only done 13,000miles and as expected passed its first MOT two weeks ago with no issues.I've done the usual thing of filling up the washer fluid to max and changing the wiper blades as these are a favourite for them to try it on. On the Facebook Hyundai page several have said that their dealer has condemned front wheel bearings when doing the combined first MOT and 3rd service in order to replace them but when pushed to go down the warranty route, have backed off and just 'adjusted' them instead. Pleased to report that my service was done in double quick time this morning whilst I waited and they didn't try to upsell me anything. Only criticism I had was that they usually wash the car which they didn't do but then again there was nothing to pay as it was already covered under the service plan. It basically was a check over which came back all green and oil/ filter change then reset the service warning and stamp the book.Sounds all good then. I always wash my own car before it goes into a garage as I'd rather they didn't. Can't believe I'm alone here!
