That said, I started a job that's 45 miles away and I go in twice a week so I top up my tank once a week. In the last 6-7 weeks, V-Power diesel has gone up by over 20p a litre. So not a slow incremental increase but it was 10p a litre different within a week. Sadly, I think with the heavy push, which feels like force to move people into EVs and Netzero, there doesn't feel like anyone in power would want to bring the cost down. I'm lucky that I only spend maybe £30-40 a week on fuel but for those driving further every week, it's just another hit to the wallet! I stopped using Shell V-Power diesel a while back when it went near 2.00/litre and with around 10 million diesel cars on the road in the UK plus 99% of the UK haulage industry running on diesel this is going to get very costly for the wider UK economy.Fortunately, although I took on a new job that requires me in the office each week. What was initially five days a week has dropped to a realistic 2 days and in turn it's not costing me too much. If I was covering the 450 miles a week I was expecting, it would have been a much bigger hit. 180-200 miles a week at 48mpg isn't awful but these hikes are still laughable. Admittedly, Vpower does often double points on the reward card so I tend to get a few quid off each month (including the Mrs fuel! haha).

This looks fantastic. I think it's got to a point you'd have to be daft to buy the G90 M5 over this or a top end Taycan. Either pure combustion or pure electric, the PHEVs are just a pointless, overcomplicated middle option

Still as subtle as a brick in your face. Not for me.

Other than a slightly bulky rear end, I think that looks fantastic. 9/10. And it's a saloon, not another bloody SUV - hurrah!
