Had one of these many moons ago….1995 in fact. Fettled by Geoff Everett at AmD in Oddington.Sold it 3 yrs later and made a tidy profit. It’s a nice thing but in reality it should be a £25-£30k car in todays world.Not that special to drive at all compared to today but back then a well fettled GTI Engineering/ BR Motorsport Tim Stiles Racing 2 litre MK2 16v Gold was equally as quick great handling at a fraction of the cost that revved to heaven!I could think of many more cars nowdays my £150k would be buying for a car that I would “want” to drive and not store as some collectors item.All of these E30’s are a bit overpriced and overrated.

This looks fantastic. I think it's got to a point you'd have to be daft to buy the G90 M5 over this or a top end Taycan. Either pure combustion or pure electric, the PHEVs are just a pointless, overcomplicated middle option

Other than a slightly bulky rear end, I think that looks fantastic. 9/10. And it's a saloon, not another bloody SUV - hurrah!
