Being a long time reader of PH but infrequent contributor, I thought I'd start a readers cars thread, who knows, some may be interested. I bought the cars in 2025 so this will be a bit of a 'diary' from then up to now.Over the last 20 years I've owned a number of classic Fords, namely Capris 2.8i and 3.0 Ghia, Cortina Ghia, RS Focus Mk1, and Escorts Mk1, 2 and 3.They were mostly decent to very good condition and I joined the Capri Club NI and went to various shows and runs. Then around 9 years ago I got a bit bored with it all and sold my Capri and Cortina and just got on with other things.A

에어컨 가스 충전

1997 Ford Expedition에서 난방과 냉방 시스템이 무작위로 온/냉풍을 교대로 분사. 겨울에는 히터 작동 시 얼음처럼 찬 외부 공기와 엔진에서 나오는 뜨거운 공기가 번갈아가며 분사되고, 여름에는 에어컨 작동 시에도 시원한 냉풍과 외부 온도보다 훨씬 뜨거운 공기가 무작위로 교대로 분사됨. 패턴을 인식할 수 없으며, 전방 벤트에만 문제가 있고 후방 벤트는 정상.

2001 Toyota Echo가 시작되지 않음. 전기 시스템은 정상 작동 (라이트, 콘솔 등 모두 작동), 하지만 시동 시도 시 지속적인 클릭음만 발생하고 엔진이 회전하지 않음. 점프 스타트도 효과 없음.

2015 알티마에 Eagle High 250amp H.O. 올터네이터 설치 직후 배터리 경고등 점등. OBD-II 스캐너 판독값: CPU 전압 15.6V (엔진 가동 중). 플루크 DMM으로 올터네이터 측정: 15.6V 충전 중. 일자리 온도 환경(화씨 한 자리). 3개 배터리 중 가장 오래된 배터리 제거해도 충전 문제 지속.

엔진 상단 우측 나사에 도달하기 어려움. 공구가 너무 길어서 뒤쪽으로 들어갈 수 없음. 공간이 거의 없음. 나사를 다시 끼울 때 엔진 내부로 떨어뜨릴 위험이 있음.

자동 헤드라이트가 무작위로 꺼지는 증상. 헤드라이트를 수동으로 끈 후 자동 모드로 다시 켜면 5-10분 정도 정상 작동했다가 다시 꺼짐. Sylvania LED 헤드라이트 전구 장착 확인 및 시스템 테스트 진행.

Mitchell과 The Back Office 통합을 오래 사용해왔고 잘 작동한다. 그러나 Quick Books는 시장 가격을 높이고 있다. 매년 연간 비용이 18~22% 상승하여 점점 더 큰 비용 부담이 생긴다. CODB라고 할 수 있지만...

750W 인버터를 SUV에 설치할 때 배터리에서 캐빈까지 4 AWG 전선을 연결하려고 함. 앰프 설치 시 음극을 샤시에 연결하는 것이 표준인지, 아니면 750W 부하에 대해 배터리 음극까지 전선을 사용해야 하는지 확인 필요. 샤시의 전류 용량 한계가 있는지 궁금함.

스틸 휠이 달려왔는데 외형이 좋지 않고 휠캡이 없음 / 세척 후 클러치 라이닝이 가루처럼 손상됨 / 인수 당일 클러치 파손 / 내부 상태가 좋지 않음 / 라이닝이 거의 남아있지 않음 / 벨하우징 제거 시 플라이휠도 함께 나옴

자동차 배터리를 방전시키지 않으면서 조명 등을 위해 400W, 12V 전원공급장치를 차량에 설치하려고 합니다. 로터리 스위치를 사용하여 배터리를 분리하고 메인→12V 전원공급장치를 빠르게 연결할 계획입니다. 전원 전환 중 시계와 스테레오 설정을 유지하기 위해 병렬로 연결된 4개의 1mF 커패시터(50V 정격)를 사용하려고 합니다.

에코(Echo) TC-2100 경운기가 시동이 잘 안 걸림. 처음에는 시동이 전혀 안 걸렸음. 스파크플러그 확인 결과 불꽃이 약하고, 플러그 도자기 부분이 금이 가서 점화가 누전되고 있었음(두꺼운 가죽 장갑을 끼고 만져도 느껴질 정도). 플러그를 교체했으나 불꽃이 여전히 약한 상태(다른 소형 엔진과 비교해도)이지만 시동은 걸림.

1996 시보레 서버번 1500 4WD 5.7리터 보르텍 - 키를 돌려도 시동이 안 걸림. 전혀 반응이 없는 것처럼 보임. 하지만 테스트 라이트로 스타터에 확인하면 전원이 있음. 크랭크 퓨즈에 테스트 라이트를 대고 시동을 걸면 정상 작동하고 시동이 걸린 후 꺼도 같은 증상 반복

I remember reading a Brave Pill article on here from June 2019 about the purchase of a CAT C TVR Tuscan. At the time I thought that it was indeed a ballsy buy but admired both the bravery and the car itself. 2019 Subaru Crosstrek가 9개월간 보관 후 시동. 점프 스타트로 시동되었으나 몇 분 후 꺼짐. 이후 점프 스타트 불가. 배기구에서 흰 연기 발생, 엔진베이에서 악취 발생.

2004 Mercury Monterey: 어제 밤 모든 전자장치가 꺼지고 시동이 꺼졌음 (배터리 방전/불량 오터네이터 원인). 아침에 오터네이터 교체 후 점프스타트 실시. 약 40분 주행 후 정상 작동하지만, 주행 중 배터리 경고등/충전 시스템 경고등이 계속 점등됨.

1984년식 VW Jetta, 1.6L 휘발유 엔진(EZ 코드). 시동은 정상이나 오래 방치 후에는 크랭킹이 길어짐. 오르막길에서 엔진 미스파이어 발생하며 동력 상실(급경사에서는 정상 주행 불가). 아이들링 중(자동변속기 P/N 위치)에도 미스파이어 발생하나 빈도 낮음(약 10초마다 1회). P/N 위치에서 아이들링 회전수 약 1500RPM.
