We have had 3 XC90s (big family) and were considering an EX equivalent, but opted for a PHEV. Having driven to Galicia this turned out to be the right choice as, unlike France, charging stations are few and far between. However the electric range is pathetic and never gets anywhere near the claimed 42 miles. Not a car I would recommend given the entirely unreasonable claims of MPG.

I've been pondering a Super N. It doesn't have the boot space or range I'd need to have it as an only vehicle, but I can keep my old Civic for the odd journeys I'd need (despite the hassle and £1k/year cost). I might end up deciding it's ok as the only car, since the only times I drive outside the range I could live with rapid charging it. For example a return trip to Gatwick is 100 miles, which would not be possible at motorway speeds, but these days there's stacks of rapid chargers available. Wow! Lots of negativity here. I really like this. While it's not as chiselled / attractive as the previous XC60 (which we have), it's still an attractive and cleanly styled car, and way better than the bugs bunny BMW iX3 or cheesy open mouthed Merc to my eyes. I wasn't sure about the looks at first, but I've grown to like it. It's certainly more elegant than the mildly ugly fussy and overdone German opposition. The cream interior wears well - our XC60 is 8 years / 100k miles old, and it still looks fresh inside. It helps that neither of us wears jeans (hideous boring conformist things that the

Such a shame to see what has become of the Volvo brand specifically. They used to make some great, functional, comfortable interiors. Hard to believe now, but they had a reputation for safety as the pioneered things like seatbelts and crumple zones while keeping things very ergonomic, allowing the driver to concentrate on the road ahead.Edited by ducnick on Wednesday 19th August 09:37

Audi A5 1.8T 엔진 작업(밸브, 타이밍 체인, 흡기측 캠축 교체) 후 문제 발생. 시동은 정상, 음향도 정상이지만: 저부하 주행 시(기어 상관없음) 스로틀 위치를 일정하게 유지하면 차량이 간헐적으로 흔들림. RPM 게이지가 변동하고 차량에서 진동 감지됨. 미스파이어처럼 느껴짐. 흔들림 상태에서 벗어나려면 스로틀을 해제하거나 부하를 증가시켜야 함.

Yes it very much peaked fairly early then had a long tail with occasional good stuff. Watching Clarkson and May review the tedious NPC SUVs in the 20th season was one of the last times there seemed to be genuine fun and chemistry going on, and they reviewed those indentikit cars exactly the way they deserved to be and there was some very sharp writing in the observations about how people use them.I think that's the last really good piece I remember from the last couple of years. The Grand Tour felt absolutely wked out from the first episode, even with the lavish production.

I was thinking about this the other day, as a work colleague was telling me about his friend who was transplanting a BMW M57 diesel engine (the 3 litre straight six diesel) and the ZF 8-speed auto into a classic Defender. Now objectively this makes it a better car (faster, more efficient, more usable etc) and this is essentially what Ineos did to make the Grenadier but does it retain the character/feel of a classic Defender? I would argue no. If I were getting a classic Defender, I would probably seek out a Td5 as I thought it was the best engine they put in it from factory and maybe get a

2007 마즈다 6 3.0L V6 자동변속기, 주행거리 약 80,000km: 정차 중 드라이브 상태에서 거친 운전감, 간헐적 실린더 미스파이어 같은 불규칙한 진동 발생. 최근에 풀스로틀 가속 시 회전수가 높지 않은데도 간헐적으로 연료 공급 차단 현상 발생(트랙션 컨트롤 표시등과는 무관). 여러 탱크에 걸쳐 지속. 냉간/온간 시동 시 모두 발생. 증상이 악화되어 정차 상태에서 드라이브 진입 시에도 실속 직전 상태가 되고, 체크 엔진 라이트 점등(고부하 시 점멸).
