There's a massive difference between holding the phone and using handsfree; Holding means it's far more difficult to change gear, to indicate, to put the wipers on. And steering is faster and more accurate if you're using both hands rather than one.As is getting increasingly common in society there are a lot of self-entitled cretins out there.

It's stupid, arrogant, holier than thou attitude and his constant escalation of situations that makes him so unlikeable, apart from his apostles. If he recorded it, posted it, and sent it to the police then nobody would care. It's clicks and rage bait that makes him money though. Back on topic, phone use is rife. It's awful. My phone puts itself in driving mode when it's connected by bluetooth and blocks all calls, texts etc. I forget about it when driving. The only exceptions are to adjust a sat nav briefly. Even then I tend to pull over and focus on it if it's practicable. Only takes a few seconds to end up in a heap of trouble. 2 tonnes of car is going to make short work of a human at 30mph. How on earth people still don't connect their phones to a car to make calls is baffling. It's far less convenient in every conceivable way.
