My G42 is back at BMW for the second round of headlight replacement - this time it’s just diagnosis as the revised parts aren’t available yet but i wanted to be in the queue for their eventual availability. Why am I posting about this on my MINI thread? Well, look at the courtesy car they’ve given me!Obviously it’s huge and ugly as sin but I quite like the interior. God knows what this list price on it would be. It’s JCW spec with seemingly all the options ticked. I can’t imagine they sell a huge number, but as small(ish) family SUV’s go it’s at least offering something a bit different.

Such a shame to see what has become of the Volvo brand specifically. They used to make some great, functional, comfortable interiors. Hard to believe now, but they had a reputation for safety as the pioneered things like seatbelts and crumple zones while keeping things very ergonomic, allowing the driver to concentrate on the road ahead.Edited by ducnick on Wednesday 19th August 09:37

Wow! Lots of negativity here. I really like this. While it's not as chiselled / attractive as the previous XC60 (which we have), it's still an attractive and cleanly styled car, and way better than the bugs bunny BMW iX3 or cheesy open mouthed Merc to my eyes. I wasn't sure about the looks at first, but I've grown to like it. It's certainly more elegant than the mildly ugly fussy and overdone German opposition. Yes it very much peaked fairly early then had a long tail with occasional good stuff. Watching Clarkson and May review the tedious NPC SUVs in the 20th season was one of the last times there seemed to be genuine fun and chemistry going on, and they reviewed those indentikit cars exactly the way they deserved to be and there was some very sharp writing in the observations about how people use them.I think that's the last really good piece I remember from the last couple of years. The Grand Tour felt absolutely wked out from the first episode, even with the lavish production.

차량이 실린더 3번에서 미스파이어가 발생하고 때때로 4번에서도 미스파이어 발생. 냉시동 후 처음 2분간은 정상 작동하다가 부하가 걸리면 실린더 3번 미스파이어 시작. 해당 부위에서 간헐적인 경미한 딱딱거리는 소음 발생. 콜드 스타트 후 약 2분 뒤부터 문제 발생.

배터리 교환

2009 혼다 어코드, 15만 마일. 최근 2주간 시동 걸리는 시간이 점점 길어지다가 오늘 매우 오래 걸림. 엔진 경고등 점등. 현재 시동 후 주행은 정상. 10만 마일 때 스타터 교체 이력 있음. 현재 스타터는 약 5만 마일 정도 사용(비OEM). 배터리는 정상. 진단 코드: P0339 (크랭크축 위치 센서 관련)

시동 및 실화 문제 발생. 91옥탄가 휘발유 사용 시 시동은 양호하나 에어컨 켜진 상태에서 공회전 중 랜덤 실화 발생. 95 또는 98옥탄가 휘발유 사용 시 시동이 어려워 3회 시동 시도 필요하나 실화 없음. 주행 중에는 양호하고 신호대기 중 공회전에서만 실화. 이 문제로 30,000km 주행했으나 차는 멈추지 않음. 구매 당시 175,000km, 현재 거의 200,000km.

캠리가 정기적으로 관리되어 왔고 배터리는 약 4년 된 상태. 1) 지난 2주간 냉시동 시 크랭킹음이 나다가 엔진이 꺼지는 증상 반복. 가속페달을 밟아야 차가 움직임. 시동 후엔 정상 작동. 2) 어제 라디오 채널이 모두 초기화됨. 시동 시 대시보드 모든 경고등이 어두워지고 배터리 방전 상태처럼 보임. 헤드라이트 미작동. 하지만 배터리 전압 확인 결과 정상으로 보임.
