I went out with a young lady who behaved exactly like that when I was 25. I had my own car and she had hers but it was my job to look after both! After having to avert a mechanical disaster one too many times I told her straight that she was on her own for her car and that if she was worried about anything she should take it to her local garage (which was run by a friend of hers). The oil price is well down around $66 a barrel. And the £ is worth nearly $1.30 these are the two things that normally go agaisnt us but both are the right way.So why is the pump price still high?

Right then... It's all been a bit shuffle and move these last couple of weeks. As some may have seen in my other threads my SL500 went to a new home which freed up some cash to go in the Caterham fund. Ever since selling my old 310R I've bitterly regretted doing so. My mrs is normally alright, but when it comes to cars, she is a .Never had any points, and never ever had a crash in 30 years, never curbed a wheel so cant complain about her driving like she likes to remind me of, bit ffs trying to get her to have a bit of mechanical sympathy is a big cause of arguments.My e38 740, ignored the binging and message on the dash saying coolant low,then stop coolant temperature, ignored the red light on the temp gauge then kept driving harder as it was losing power until the block and heads were a fking prezel.Various other cars, asked her not to use full throttle

Could somebody give me a little guidance and how this would work. Car A is on my driveway that I want to swap for car B which we will be meeting half way, car B is taxed and previous owner will cancel tax after we get back from the swap. Temp insurance will be used.Car A has no insurance or tax. Insurance as said I will just use temp cover. Do I just tax the car as normal and then cancel once I am home, shame to lose 35 quid just for a 40 minute drive.

Saw this posted by wjs1968 on the ‘cool classic car spotters thread’.It got me thinking…In theory, could you remove a plate like this onto another car?…and if so, what style of replacement reg would the car get?

The knob is the self appointed traffic police in the lorry.I don't think the AA and RAC say anything about "when you see a lane closure sign, immediately divert into the lane that's about to close to try and undercut everyone in front of you". The lorry wasn't doing anything other than going about his business and being in front of the Ranger..

In the late 2000s I was at a car show, and one of the stands I visited had a very performance focused car. Not quite a track toy, but definitely not a comfy cruiser.It was enclosed, but it had something more akin to a cockpit than a cabin. The passenger seat was behind, but to the side of the driver's seat. So a sort of staggered tandem arrangement. It was a low volume manufacturer, and they were encouraging people to come and try the car at their HQ (I can't remember which country). A missed opportunity, but there was no way I'd have been able to buy it so I wasn't going to waste their time.I
