My X5 had the boot open all day, it simply shuts off power after a few minutes and that is that. For whatever reason his RR did not this time. I had to jump start a mate's 2023 Toyota hybrid 3 times at Le Mans this year after his 12v battery kept going flat. He'd parked at the house we were staying at but kept getting things in and out of his car, which has an electric tailgate.The car I used to jump start it was my 2024 Defender, which for the record has been faultless (33k miles so far).Land Rovers of all shapes have used a power shut-down system for many years. I suspect the FFRR at Llandow wasn't just parked with the tailgate open, most likely doors were being continually opened and shut during the day which wakes everything up and restarts the countdown to power shutoff. That is a very effective way to use up battery capacity.
