Wow, I've just taken a week or so to read through this build. Firstly amazing stuff OP. Love the way you've gone for it, and gone BIG! Inspiring.Secondly thanks for being so honest about it all. Seems like you have had more than your fair share of bad luck but I'm sure others wouldn't have been quite so truthful. I've never done anything on this scale but all the stuff I end up doing seems to take me ages and is always much harder than the "I can do that job in 10 mins on my drive in the rain" sentiment that seems to be the norm on the internet. Made a project thread for my new venture on the GT86 Forum's and thought i'd make my very first reader's car thread on here!So a couple of week's ago I picked up my GT86, I wasn't planning on getting one so soon but I've been keeping my eyes out for a cheap written off one with just the right amount of damage and that's exactly what I got when this popped up!Warning graphic images! And it was in the exact colour I wanted! So less than 48 hours after it was listed I had placed a deposit and arranged to travel up to Lincoln to pick it up t

That's a really nice shed. I've always liked the look of the E46 (some of us think that's the last of the elegant BMWs).A check of MoT history doesn't seem to flag up anything to be overly concerned about either. Although you have to wonder why it has bare been driven in recent years

Ive seen a plate I would like to buy, however its listed on at least 3 or 4 different dealers.I messaged Regtransfers and they said it was now sold, yet still have it listed.Its not assigned to any car currently.Are these just dealers trying to lure people in to buying something they do have in stock, or just chancers listing plates they have no permission to even sell in the first place?There is no way Id want to pay anything just based on the hope of them then trying to get in touch with the owner!The plate is a dateless NNN ABC format.

The only negative I remember is the fuel economy vs the performance. I don't think I bettered 28 mpg. The 330i used no more fuel, and was a lot quicker.That was a bugbear that I had with my E90 330i auto to be fair. The 26mpg that it returned in my usage didn't match up to the performance that was on offer for me. I think the manual version would be far better on fuel though.

2002 혼다 어코드, 214,000마일. 엔진음이 보트 같은 소음 발생. P1457 증발 캐니스터 누출 코드 발생. 작년에 코드 리셋 후(튜브를 캐니스터에 지퍼 타이로 고정) 올해 다시 코드 발생. 전자 장치는 정상 작동하는 것으로 보임.

냉각수 교환

2005 닛산 UD 245 시리즈 트럭 구입 후 라디에이터 캡을 열었을 때 냉각수에 상당량의 오일이 섞여 있음. 라디에이터를 플러시하고 새 냉각수를 채워 20분간 운행했으나 다시 많은 양의 오일이 라디에이터에 들어옴. 연기나 물이 엔진에 들어간 징후는 없음.

2001 Toyota 4Runner SR5, 265,000마일. 2일간 미주행 후 엔진 하부에서 소량(약 2티스푼) 누유 발견. 투명하고 약간 붉은색 띠, 냄새 없음, 약간 기름진 질감. 냉각수 레벨이 마지막 점검 시보다 약간 낮을 수 있음. 트랜스미션 오일은 정상. 트랜스미션 영역에서 누유 확인.

지난 일주일간 와이퍼가 3번 임의로 자동 작동했습니다. 매번 스위치를 껐다 켜면 정상으로 돌아옵니다. 다른 전기 문제는 보이지 않습니다. 한 달간 사용하지 않았는데 스위치가 갑자기 고장 나는 것이 이상합니다. 어제 달라스 교통 체증 중에 차가 과열되기 시작했고(약 220°F), 엔진이 꺼졌습니다. 아마 컴퓨터가 손상을 방지하기 위해 엔진을 끈 것 같습니다.

2003 미쓰비시 갤런트, 4G63 SOHC 2.0L 엔진. 고속도로 주행 시 수온계가 거의 C 수위까지 떨어짐. 가속 시 에어벤트에서 탄 냄새 발생. 오일/냉각수 감소 없음. 도시 주행 시는 정상 수온 유지, 탄 냄새 없음. 최근 라디에이터 코어 3개 손상으로 수리함.

2001 혼다 프렐류드 SH 시동 불량. 수주 전 시동 시도 시 엔진이 시동되어 약 10초간 정상 작동한 후 RPM이 서서히 떨어지다가 스톨. 이후 모든 시동 시도 실패 - 크랭킹만 되고 시동 안 걸림. 배터리 충전 상태는 정상 유지됨. 자동차는 보관 중.

에어컨이 충분히 차갑지만 핫한 날씨(약 30°C)에서 윈드실드 하단부(하단 8분의 1 정도, 전체 폭에 걸쳐)에 얇은 결로가 맺히는 현상. 2002년식 아큐라 RSX. 1년 전 에어컨 컴프레서 교체됨.

에어컨 켰을 때 콘덴서 냉각팬에서 나오는 큰 휘이이이 소음이 지속적으로 발생. 에어컨 끄고 송풍만 할 때는 소음 없음. 2018 Honda Clarity PHEV Non-Touring

2007 4-Runner 6기통 Limited 2WD의 에어컨 시스템이 여름 더위에서 성능 저하. AC Pro 같은 '탑오프' 제품과 '스톱 리크' 첨가제를 사용했음. 리크 시일런트 첨가제가 에어컨 시스템에 부작용을 일으킬 수 있어 시스템 완전 점검 및 냉매 교체 필요.
