I thought I should now start a Reader's Cars for my Z4 even though I've had it 8 months now. Short version of a very long story. I got ripped off by a classic car specialist who I bought a Porsche 924 from. There had been a long drawn out legal battle but eventually at the end of April 25 after just shy of 2 years I was paid out and the 924 collected and returned to the seller. Someone's been busy cutting things about to prove a point. I imagine the construction on those is interesting given the design and materials they started from. Also that rear bed looks very high and shallow when you get to see inside, from outside it looks more regularly dimensioned than it actually is.Edited by JoshSm on Wednesday 16th September 12:27

Looks a bit bland inside and out, especially for £50k+ but a step in the right direction.Guessing these will be leased for £500 p/m?

This looks so good and the interior is superb. I have want even though I have no want for one of these.

Hi All, I've gotten a few suggestions that I should start a thread on my garage.I've been collecting sports, super, and hyper cars for almost 20 years now.For a few years I did one of the Fast Fleet columns in EVO. I've continued these on our own site now. Current garage includes: McLaren 720S Spider, 675LT Spider, 650S Spider, Senna, Ferrari F40, Maserati GranCabrio, & a Porsche 911 (997.2) GT3 RSI've got a SCG 004S on order and a McLaren 765LT Spider will probably follow that.A few others of potential interest that used to inhabit the garage include a Ferrari F50, 430 Scuderia, 599 GTB HGT

Having decided that it was time to move on from the C Class we bought in January, it was time to start looking at replacements.Initially an F31 3 series was the preferred option and a return to my safe place, however they all seemed really bloody expensive and it was hard to find at least a 320d with the options we (well, I) wanted. Anything half decent seemed to get sold instantly. I missed out on a higher mileage 330d x-drive in red that had some nice options and a massive stack of history with it.We looked at a 320d not far away in white with red leather but there was a fair bit of rust sta

£30k?! And you still need to factor in £1500+ when the mechatronic unit fails (which it will).The manual V6 is a far more obvious classic, alongside the QS. A DSG V6 is not rare enough to command this sort of money, but hey, worth a shot I guess?

Hi,Having previously been stung by losing my No Claims Discount when I did not own my own car for several years and finding out far too late they they "expire", I'm keen not to make the same mistake again. As of last week I am named on the insurance policy of my new lease vehicle (through work sal sac scheme) and am also a named drive on my partner's car.Do I need to do anything (and is there anything I can do) to keep my NCD intact should I decide to buy my own car in 3 years' time and need my own insurance?TIA
