1991 BMW e34 525i, 374,000km, 엔진 오일 소비. 누유 없음. 오르막길이나 가속 시 약간의 스모크 발생. 실린더 헤드 가스켓 세트와 피스톤 링 교체 완료.

2001 뷰익 리걸의 연료 펌프 교체 필요 가능성. 새로운 연료 펌프의 플로트도 기존 펌프와 동일한 문제 발생. 가솔린 게이지 바늘이 떨어지지 않음. 12게이지 구리선으로 플로트에 무게를 다는 방식의 안전성 문제. 구리선이 휘발유 탱크 내에서 전기를 전도하는 것에 대한 우려.

오일 교환 후 브레이크 패드를 교체하던 중 브레이크액이 리저버에서 흘러나왔다. 양은 상당했고 캡이 느슨했다. 브레이크 작업 후 리저버 액면을 확인했더니 최고 수위선에 있었다. 지면에 흘린 양이 리저버의 빈 공간보다 많아 보인다.

2003 닛산 프리메라 2L에서 에어컨 켤 때 벨트 소음 발생. 전형적인 고음의 삑삑거림이 아니지만 후드를 열면 뚜렷하게 들림. 에어컨 풀리에 물을 분사하면 소음이 크게 변하지만 완전히 없어지지 않음.

1.3리터 2009년식 토요타 코롤라에서 80km/h 이상 주행 또는 2800rpm 이상 가속 시 에어컨 냉각이 중단되는 문제. 80km/h 이하에서는 정상 작동. 현재까지 에어컨 컴프레서나 냉매를 건드린 적 없음.

닛산 센트라

엔진오일 교환

2005 닛산 센트라(1.8L 4기통, 전륜구동) 깊은 웅덩이에 빠졌고, 프론트 우측이 휠웰 높이까지 물에 잠김. 리버스와 드라이브를 반복해서 탈출함. 마지막 리버스 시도에서 엔진에 힘을 주었을 때 프론트 휠이 슬립하면서 문제 발생.

크라이슬러 밴이 14,561마일에서 오일 교환 시 딜러가 규정량 6쿼트 대신 12쿼트를 주입함. 배기가스에서 오일 연기 발생 및 엔진이 20마일 동안 매우 거칠게 작동. 딜러가 6쿼트를 빼내고 문제없다고 함. 향후 밸브 씰이나 메인 씰 손상에 대한 우려.

1998 Mazda 626 GF 2L이 시동이 걸리지 않음. 1주일 전 에어 조정 스크류를 완전히 열린 상태에서 거의 닫힌 상태로 조정한 후 시동이 걸리지 않았음. 스크류를 다시 열었을 때 몇 번의 시도 후 시동이 걸렸고 10분간 운전했음. 1주일 후 다시 시동을 걸었을 때 순간 작동했다가 꺼짐. 시동을 다시 걸고 가속 시도했으나 같은 현상 반복. 현재 시동이 전혀 걸리지 않음.

2004 크라이슬러 콩코드 LXi 3.5 - 몇 달 전 주행 중 차를 끄고 가게 들어갔다 나왔을 때 시동 시 급속한 클릭음만 반복되고 시동 안 걸림. 20분 정도 기다리면 정상 시동됨. 이번 주에 휘발유 주입 후 동일한 증상 발생했는데 이번에는 시동이 걸리지 않음. 며칠 후 겨우 시동되어 20분간 워밍업하면서 RPM이 1-2칸 올라갔다 떨어지기를 반복함. 주행 시작 10분 후 주행 중 시동 꺼짐.

부트 카펫에 새 엔진오일 약 500ml 이하가 새어 스며들었음. 카펫이 손상될 위험 없이 오일 얼룩을 제거하고 싶음.

새 디젤 엔진 차량에 연료가 거의 없을 때(25마일 남음) 주유 후 약 100마일 주행 중 연료 오염으로 인한 것 같은 표준적인 진동 발생. 디젤을 주입했을 가능성이 99.99%이지만, 휘발유를 실수로 주입했을 가능성에 대한 우려.

쉐보레 말리부

2017년식 · 8G (2015-2023) · 1.5T 자동

엔진오일 교환

후드를 열 수 없어서 엔진 오일을 확인할 수 없음. 오일 수명이 76%로 표시됨.
