83년식 미츠비시 PU 디젤. 키를 끈 상태에서 오일 경고등이 켜져 0.25A를 소비. 키를 켜면 등이 꺼짐. 다른 조명과 게이지는 정상 작동. 엔진 시동 중에는 등이 꺼짐. 주차 중 배터리가 방전됨. 키를 끈 상태에서 경고등이 어디서 전원을 받는가?

My mother in law had a small Holden from new. It was never serviced in her ownership and the only maintenance was when things failed. She would happily drive it one or two kilometres several times a day and wonder why the battery would go flat. It was fit for a scrap heap at 40k kilometres. We bought her a Gen I Leaf and she treats it in exactly the same fashion, but it never gives her any trouble. I pump up the tyres and fill the screen washer from time to time and she plugs it in when she remembers. As a pensioner, her annual registration is free. Fuel and insurance are cheap with her limite

98 Saturn SW2가 유휴 상태에서 2회 정지되었고, 정지되지 않을 때는 500rpm 근처에서 요동함(보통 750-950rpm). 첫 번째는 시동 후 즉시 떨어졌고, 두 번째는 정지 시 발생. 가솔린 페달로 조절하면 정상화됨. 첫 발생 후 연료 충전(거의 비운 상태) 및 폭풍우 지난 후 발생.

배터리 양극 포스트/케이블에 심한 부식이 발생했으며, 지난 2개월간 2회 반복됨. 캐빈 전원 콘센트에 너무 많은 액세서리를 연결해서 그런지 의문.

에어필터 교환

배터리 음극 케이블이 작업 중에 분리됨. 음극 케이블을 다시 연결했을 때 시동은 걸렸으나, 며칠 후 음극 케이블이 다시 풀어져 있었음.

2002 혼다 어코드에 실수로 5쿼트의 오일을 과다하게 추가함. 고속도로 주행 중 엔진에서 타는 냄새가 나기 시작함.

i-VTEC 엔진(혼다의 개선된 전자식 VTEC)에 대해 궁금함. VTEC이 혼다만의 기술인지, 다른 제조사도 비슷한 이름의 기술을 가지고 있는지 알고 싶음. 혼다 VTEC의 특징인 '킥인 파워'와 유사한 다른 제조사의 기술이 존재하는지 확인하고 싶음.

1996 Lincoln Continental 후륜 에어백이 서서히 새는 증상 - 밤새 압력 저하, 시동 후 약 20초 동안 에어백 충전, Check Ride Control 경고등 간헐적 점등. 범프 통과 시 짧은 고압 공기 배출음 청취. 컴프레서는 하루 종일 거의 작동하지 않음.

R134 업그레이드 중 POA 밸브 교체 후 확인: 새 POA 밸브(Old Air)에 디퓨저나 미터링 밸브가 없고 내부가 비어있는 상태. 새 콘덴서와 필터/드라이어가 R134 규격인지 확실하지 않음. 컴프레서는 아직 장착하지 않음.

에어컨 가스 충전

에어컨 시스템 기본 진공/충전 후 차량 주행 중 에어컨 정상 작동 (시속에서 벤트 온도 52도, 외부 온도 99도). 문제점: 에어컨 작동 시 냉각팬이 작동하지 않음. 두 팬 모두 작동 가능한 상태.

자동 제상(defrost) 기능 없이 에어컨 스위치만으로 제상 기능을 수동으로 작동시킬 수 있는지 여부

토요타 코롤라

2012 크라이슬러 타운앤컨트리의 에어컨 성능이 저하된 것으로 느껴짐. 에어컨 출구 온도를 측정한 결과: 외부 조건 85°F / 습도 55% 환경에서 최저 설정 'LO', 팬 최소('1단): 42°F 출력, 팬 최대('6단): 60°F 출력. 2003년식 도요타 코롤라와 비교하려고 하나 결과 해석이 어려움.

에어컨 가스 충전

2011 혼다 어코드 에어컨이 갑자기 냉각을 멈춤. 서비스 센터에서 냉매 부족을 발견하고 충전했으나, 며칠 후 다시 냉각 안됨. 에버포레이터 누수 발견되어 에버포레이터, 리시버, 팽창 밸브 교체 및 냉매 충전 완료. 그 후에도 에어컨이 작동했다가 임의로 켜졌다 꺼졌다를 반복함.

2004 포드 프리스타 에어컨이 냉풍을 내보내지 않음. 컴프레서가 계속 켜졌다 꺼졌다를 반복함.

엔진 시동 후 약간의 연기가 나오다가 금방 없어짐. 따뜻한 엔진 상태에서 내리막길 유휴 주행 중 많은 양의 파란색 연기 발생. 문제가 즉시 나타나지 않으면 주차 상태에서 엔진을 고회전시키면 빠르게 나타남. 냉간 엔진 상태에서 오르막길에서는 의도적으로 시도해도 연기가 발생하지 않음. 연기는 엔진 오일 연소로 인한 것으로 판단됨.

We have family visiting from overseas and I've managed to drive into their rental car whilst getting off my driveway this morning Damage is to their driver's door, a shallow crease about 20cm long, the scuffs have all polished out. Car is a slightly tatty 72-plate MG and there are a few dings and scrapes in other places. I'm not really sure how best to proceed, they are planning to take it back and plead ignorance / hope it isn't noticed (they have it for a few more weeks). I think their excess is mega but assume if the damage is spotted they will only be charged for the amount of the repair?

The naysayer posts on this topic remind me of similar in the early EV days.Whether it will become a thing or not will depend on whether some big players see potential commercial viability - and some are clearly hedging their bets.A tiny minority of supercar owners isn't going to support the industry but billions who can continue to run their existing vehicles as opposed to leasing overpriced white goods might.

Hi AllI have an insurance question.I am in the process of selling my Campervan, the insurance expires on the 31st.I am naturally hoping to sell it before then, but if I don t then I may need say another 2 weeks at worst case scenario.On insurance do you have a 2 week cancellation clause, upon taking a policy out?I don t want to renew for another year, but I know most companies when they got hold of your money they unlikely to give it back.Any ideas?Thanks Edited by Nesty1760 on Saturday 18th July 12:55

I last went in 2018, the year the Alpine A110 was launched. We had a great day and both made a pact that one day we will own an Alpine. However, even then I just felt it had got too big and commercial. For me I have the memory of going every year from 1996 to 2008 inclusive. Missed 94 and 95 as I didnt even know it existed and then read a piece by Steve Cropley in Autocar on it. The first year I went in 1996 was very special. Got there nice and early and it was so so quiet. Didn't queue on the Chichester bypass and just drove straight in along the little lanes that lead up to it. Lots of celeb
