As title, I've recently acquired a Mk2 Golf GTI 16v project. Car is a Jade Green late model small bumper 16v. I haven't got the original engine but the project came with a choice of two. I've got a 9A 2.0 16v engine from a Corrado and an ABF 2.0 16v engine from a Mk3 Golf. I'm pretty certain I'm going with the ABF engine but that decision is a long way off. Before then the car will need inner and outer sills, floor pans, inner and outer wings, front and rear valances plus all the usual bodywork repairs. Mk2 Golf GTI 16v 프로젝트 차량 - 광범위한 차체 손상 (내측/외측 실, 바닥판, 내측/외측 펜더, 전후 발란스 등). 용접 수리 경험 제한적. 대규모 복원 프로젝트 진행 중.

스즈키 스위프트 디젤에서 아침 첫 시동 시 오일 압력 경고등이 엔진 시동 후 4-5초간 켜져 있음. 엔진이 뜨거울 때 재시동하면 경고등이 바로 꺼짐.

중고차 구매 시 엔진 오일 교환 이력 확인 문제. 압축 테스트로 엔진 내 오일 슬러지/가우드 축적 여부를 판단할 수 있는지, 그리고 가우드 축적이 있을 경우 오일 교환만으로 해결 가능한지 궁금함.

6기통 BMW 엔진 재구성 중. 300,000km 주행 엔진. RPM 레드라인을 6500에서 7000으로 올리기 위해 회전 어셈블리 밸런싱 필요. 피스톤 측정 결과 4번 실린더 피스톤이 가장 무거운 것보다 5.2g 무거움. 엔진은 30만km 동안 문제없이 작동했고, 베어링은 균등하게 마모되었으며, 크랭크축은 마모 없음, 4번 실린더 보어와 피스톤은 육안상 이상 없음. 다른 5개 알루미늄 피스톤에서 5.2g을 제거하는 것은 바람직하지 않아 보임.

I was trying not to make this too much opinion. I am eager to learn to work on an engine, but I thought maybe I could buy a plastic engine model kit, Revell or some other brand. Is building a small model engine like that remotely close to working on a real engine? By that I mean learning the parts and how it works. I know it's a lot cleaner, etc. Or is it a waste of time?

Andy Burnham’s congestion zone signs. We’ve still got a few left. IIRC £78 million to set it all up, chopping trees down and concreting sign posts in all over the 490 square miles it covered, then £190,000 to put the under review stickers on for a bit, then a final £600,000 to remove the signs altogether.The very definition of unnecessary.

More and more, the back seats look like the place to be. I ain't laying out until I get to enjoy them so I'll have to wait for self driving. Or if the local minicab company gets one I'll make extensive use of them.

I quite like a Dawn in the right colours, but that looks ridiculous.Would expect it to be an ex rental from Birmingham.

I'm in for the engine all day long, but like others, I'm not all that keen on the colour or the wheels though. But it could be worse though, because it could be electric for me, and I definitely wouldn't want that at all. I was in London over the weekend, and I heard a V12 Rolls Royce start up, and it immediately put a smile on my face for sure. It was subdued of course, but life doesn't get much better than sitting behind a V12 engine in my view.

엔진 과열 증상은 없음. 엔진 오일과 냉각수는 충분한 상태. 오일 압력도 정상 범위. 대부분의 경우 1번 실린더에서 발생하는 문제

1965년형 Pontiac Bonneville, 4배럴 Carter AFB 캐브레터 장착. 시동 후 따뜻해지면 즉시 꺼짐 증상 반복. 초크가 켜져 있을 때는 잘 달리지만, 워밍업 후 초크가 열리면 시동-꺼짐을 반복. 악셀을 계속 밟고 있으면 정상 작동하고 소리도 좋음. 간헐적으로 1분 정도 유지되기도 함. 캐브레터를 정비소에서 점검받고 재설치했으나 증상 미해결.

연료가 실린더로 분사되지 않음. 흡기에 휘발유를 조금 넣으면 시동이 걸리려고 함. 두 개의 호스를 빼냈을 때 연료가 펌프로 들어오고 나감. 1994년 수즈키 스위프트 세단 G13B 1.3L 엔진. 엔진을 리빌드한 후 오버히트 발생(냉각계통 에어 혼입). 냉각수 없이 시동이 걸렸다가 꺼짐. 시동 후 운전 매우 불안정하고 악셀러레이터 페달을 계속 밟아야 함.

엔진에 대해 더 알고 싶고, 정비 지식을 배우고 싶으며, 엔진에 쌓인 먼지와 그리스를 청소하기 위해 엔진을 분해하는 것을 고려 중입니다. 분해 후 다시 조립하고 이전보다 더 잘 작동하게 하고 싶습니다. 이런 작업에 따른 주요 위험이 있을까요? 반드시 피해야 할 이유가 있을까요?

오일 교환 후 냉시동 시 오일 압력 경고등이 평소보다 오래 켜져 있음 (평소 1초 이내 → 현재 최대 4초). 오일 온도가 올라간 후에는 정상. 오일 레벨과 누유 없음, 추천 규격의 고급 5W30 오일 사용 중.
