두 번 발생했으며, 첫 번째는 훨씬 심했음. 우측 상완 컨트롤 암의 내부 부싱을 교체했으나 오늘 다시 발생 (속도가 낮아서 덜 심함). 파워 스티어링 플루이드는 가득 참. 6개월 전에 중고 랙을 교체했으며 상태는 양호했으나 설치 중 라인 연결 중 발생.

I'll maybe take some proper pictures when it next gets sanitised (and it's not dusk)!It's stock other than a steel bash plate up front and 225/65/17 Geolander G015 AT tyres on some aftermarket alloys. 중고차를 구입했는데 타이어 프레셔 게이지로 4개 타이어 중 1개의 공기압을 측정할 수 없음. 게이지를 밸브에 아무리 강하게 눌러도 핀이 들어가지 않으며, 다른 타이어의 밸브와 비교하면 핀이 더 안쪽에 있거나 핀 자체가 짧아 보임.

새 타이어 구매 시 판매자가 60,000마일 수명을 언급할 때의 의미 불명확. 타이어가 특정 두께(마모 패턴)에 도달할 때까지의 주행거리인지, 아니면 해당 마일리지 주변의 테스트된 고장률 기반인지 확인 필요. 회전·균형 조정을 규정 간격대로 수행해도 실제 타이어 수명을 못 미치는 경험 있음.

마쓰다 323 아스티나(1997년식), 추운 날씨에 5단에서 뉴트럴로 미끄러져 나감. 하루에 보통 1회, 매우 추운 날씨에는 2회 발생. 차가 30분 이상 연속 운행 후에는 발생하지 않음. 가속 또는 가벼운 액셀 압력으로 코스팅할 때만 발생. 기어스틱이 뉴트럴 위치로 튀어나가고 엔진 회전수가 즉시 상승.

기어 비율(gear ratio)의 개념이 이해가 안 됨. 기어 비율이 단순히 기어(톱니)의 크기가 다르다는 뜻인가? '기어 비율'이라는 용어가 정확히 무엇을 의미하는가?

어제 타이어 펑크가 발생했습니다. 타이어 숍(Costco Tire Center)을 방문했더니 담당자가 제 차량(Honda Accord 2002)에 부적절한 등급의 타이어를 장착했다고 지적했습니다. 차량은 V 레이팅이 필요한데 H 레이팅 타이어가 장착되어 있었습니다. 이전에 Sam's Club에서 타이어를 교체했을 때는 스피드 레이팅에 대해 언급이 없었습니다. Costco 담당자는 낮은 스피드 레이팅의 타이어는 사이드월이 약해서 펑크 위험이 높다고 설명했습니다.

타이어 전체 주변부에 주름지거나 작은 균열이 발생함

브레이크 로터 교체 시 오래된 로터가 고착되어 제거하기 어려운 경우가 많음. 향후 로터 제거를 쉽게 하기 위해 설치 시 로터 뒷면에 Anti-Seize 컴파운드를 도포하는 것이 좋은지 확인 필요.
